  1. I don't know how much it crosses into Showmasters territory but it's Jason's project so it's all legit
  2. 1) Public transport has been in operation all through out the pandemic, they reduced the train service but there's photo's from the height of the pandemic with those who still had to go to work all rammed into carriages, so I don't think that will be affected or a consideration really. 2) That is definitely a big concern - if they have to isolate for 2 weeks that probably makes it financially non viable. Though there is a high chance they won't have to if they have had the vaccination, but that probably makes it hard to find guests who have had it, that are free to come over, want to do the show and are affordable. Also, many attendees are based overseas and I know many are hesitant to buy tickets as they don't know if they will be allowed to travel either and don't want to buy if they then can't come over and not get their money back. 3) I agree, thought the first dose does give good coverage it is a concern. I know it's very easy for me to say this as I'm not familiar with the intricacies of running a con and what the concerns are behind the scenes, but it does seem like it would be more sensible for the larger events to hold off for a bit.

  4. Was it an epic disaster? You didn't accidentally stab yourself with your wood did you?
  5. Usually pre orders get added around the time of announcement but there's no official timeframe so it's whenever really. Best thing to do is to check once in a while, or when they start making official announcements again. Most guests you won't have to worry about as pre order's rarely sell out, the only time I'd say you might want to order quickly is if they announced a massive A lister who would get a lot of people buying. Then they would probably cap it and you'd want to order sooner rather than later.
  6. As Wrong says the guests attending will all be available on the pre order site, it's just not been updated yet given the state of things. Also whilst there are lots of guests listed on the website, SM haven't ever said that they are reconfirmed yet. https://www.showmasterssales.com/collections/lfcc2021-pre-orders
  7. https://metro.co.uk/2021/03/12/cliff-simon-dead-stargate-sg-1s-baal-dies-in-kiteboarding-accident-14231176/ Very sad news. I met him a couple of times through Stargate cons many years ago and remember him as a pleasant chap.
  8. That would be really funny and you are committed to doing it now. May I recommend the arseless trousers for a modicum of decency?
  9. Lucifer seasons 1-5. Finally managed to get access to the Amazon series so I've binged watched them all and have mostly enjoyed it. Some of the plot lines were fairly obvious (last few eps of S5, I'm looking at you) and the less said about some of them not actually being very good police officers the better. it's amusing and enjoyable though and good on Tom Ellis for being willing to get his bum out so often.
  10. Another addition to the collection
  11. Were you forced to watch at gun point?
  12. Then it's definitely worth something.
  13. Likewise. I enjoyed it very much.
  14. Depending on what one it is it could be worth a lot more than £1
  15. Interestingly Biden tweeted this yesterday about the US vaccinations https://twitter.com/POTUS/status/1366863233538228233?s=20
  16. Greenland. I really enjoyed this. I think the very end was a bit too optimistic for a couple of reasons but meh, they did it well for the most part.
  17. I agree, it's a s***ty knock off of Hannibal that literally steals things directly from Hannibal and PCF should be ashamed of liking it. Go and watch the real thing you traitor! Seriously though, I gave it a try as I do like murder/cop shows but I couldn't get in to it. I might give it another go at some point.
  18. I believe they have said it's the road map they are planning on, so it's how it will go if everything stays on track. It will be adjusted as and when if previous stages of reopening everything happen as scheduled. So no, it's not a definitive 'it WILL happen on this date whatever' but it's the info the gov have given that companies have to plan on unless they are told otherwise later on and will adjust to whatever the situation is at the time. I don't know what the situation is like in the US at the moment as I've not read anything about it for a while, or what their vaccination plans and schedule is but it could simply be down to numbers? The US has such a larger population than the UK, I do wonder if they have postponed as there's no way enough of the population will have been vaccinated in time for SDCC to happen safely. Whereas as the UK licensed the drugs early, bought a good supply of them all and has set up a well run and very effective mass vaccination program, everyone should have had the first injection well before LFCC if everything stays on track. The complicating factor for LFCC and any other UK events will be the international travel side of it - if guests can travel without quarantining (quarantining for work on a film that will take a couple of months or so is one thing, it's another for a weekend con when you might have to be back on set after) or if they haven't had their vacc yet and can't travel without having it.
  19. Yeah prices shouldn't really be affected - other companies who are announcing guests for events later in the year are the same as they would have been last year.
  20. Any hosting site will do, though I use Flikr. Also if you have a facebook page and post them there, you can copy the images over to here.
