  1. I can't wait to meet Michael but Manchester feels like the moon to a southerner like me although I am thinking about it. Thought you might like to know of airline Jet2(www.jet2.com) for anyone who wants to fly up from Gatwick quite cheaply.
  2. I hadn't heard about him dating Diane Keaton - talk about life imitating art I would love to see Keano and he had done a convention in USA so it's not as if it is impossible to consider.
  3. Missed Roxanne so although my friend got her autograph for me, would still like to meet her. Robert and Jeri are the two Voyager crew I have yet to meet and would like to do so.
  4. I just want to add that I love these changing pictures and congratulations.
  5. 14 days since I put in the last set of questions and still no responses. where is everyone??? Dispondant.
  6. Did anyone see him on Graham Norton's show last night? Saw him on GMTV this morning - thanks for the thread - gave us time to view. According to a colleague at work, he is also on "London Tonight" around 18h00
  7. Public Address system (I'm at work in a PA studio)

  11. I voted NO Anywhere, anytime anyone wants to show the trilogy on an all nighter or an all day showing, (well, anywhere in the SE region) I will be happy to attend and I've just finished reading the books again. Although I have the DVDs, the films are so great on the big screen - TV (well, a 14" one) doesn't do them justice. Every time I watch the films, is like for the first time. Even though all the characters are like friends and you get a warm buzz from having met the actors and feel like you know them, it just enhances the whole effect of being in another world. Pure escapism and for me, it will never diminish.
  12. I have felt bereft without the forum - thank goodness it is back and this note is just to put my thread back at the top of this section. I hope someone tries to answer the questions.
  13. Wow crusty, that is incredibly fast after the last lot that dragged on so slowly - and of course they are ALL correct - so, speedily we go onto the next five questions. 1] Dee leaves the old gin twist for Gimli's dad (C.5) 2] The Egyptian spirit Ka, an Auk and a Kiwi in the melting pot and out pops a mumakil rider (A.2,4,3) 3] Tonto is not alone (C.6) 4]Non-commissioned officer mills snails from the Magic Roundabout (A.5+7) 5] Eastenders Square is Dismal and cheesy entertainment, wouldn't you say Peter? (C.6+6)
  14. Hello again Crusty. I will keep this up at least until all these questions I have worked on have been completed or until no-one tries this site again. I can see that interest is waning, or maybe it's just the summmer. We'll have to see how it goes. You do seem a very busy person but I'm very glad you still pop in from time to time and especially glad that you always seem to be able to get the answers - that seems to make it all worthwhile. Here are the next five questions 1] Reflecting images in a pond perhaps? (L.10) 2] E's not ruined, just mixed up through generations in Khazad-dum (C.5) 3] Say yes for twisting comedian Wisdom's gaffer. (A.6+6) 4] French black turned back, making the lead confused. (C.8) 5] Mythical bird turns nasty out of the fire (C.3) Hope to hear from everyone soon.
  15. and starting with an E in DS9 I offer Ee'char
  16. Hi Crusty - Have you been on holiday or just busy at work? I was beginning to wonder where you were. I am so glad that two more of my questions have been answered, so we are now just waiting for the last one - sorry Orli's Bloomers - its not Aragon. Here is a major clue for everyone who reads this sitel "are less" is an anagram. Here is the question repeated. 1] Frustrated Heirs are less apparant in Gondor (C.7)
  17. Another week has passed - it is Sunday again - some of you must be back from holiday, can no-one answer the three remaining questions?? I am repeating the three unanswered ones to make it easy to see them.... 1] Frustrated Heirs are less apparant in Gondor (C.7) 2] ST-TNG's Doctor, McFadden, negatively thinks they're white (L.5+5) 3] Christmas Fruit by a Hobbiton resident (A.4+7) Will anyone give these a try? 4] Flooded low lands are deceased (L.3+4+7) Billybird answered "Dead Marshes" correctly 5] Turning round, Len lied that he was King of men (C.7) Billybird answered "Elendil" correctly
