  1. I think they were free actually, now you remind me, in respect of SM's didn't pay a fee for them but knew they were there - it said something about that when they got announced. If SM's aren't paying them, they're free to their own devices I suppose :) Got to admit though, I didn't spot either of them until I was coming out of the toilets at one stage, where one of them was getting changed into her costume and she appeared about 3 feet taller than me at the sinks - gave me a bit of a fright
  2. He'll be messing your bed up anyway luv I tried to cram him into a box but he wasn't having any of it....so I'm sending him via balloon (Hey, it's a novel way of recieving Ron Perlman! )
  3. I'll send him recorded special delivery - I'm going to need to find a bloody big box though *chuckle* Anyone got a big enough box to send Mr Perlman to Norfolk for Little Miss please?!!
  4. Adam had Open Q he couldnt have been that Busy, Charisma was tho. Billy was on open queue, he was still busy - a lot of people went back several times to both him and Adam Baldwin ( I got dragged around with a group of Firefly nuts lol ).
  5. You fell asleep in a phonebox?!!
  6. Both of Billy Boyd's talks - spontaneous, unpredictable and damn funny
  7. Little Miss, I'll kidnap Ron for you - I have to agree, after London, he's well deserving a kidnapping purely for being such a cool guy!
  8. Hiiiiii Naomi!.. I didn't think you could get old. You have looked the same for the pas 2 years, you glow even more every time I see you. I HAVE seen you in the morning!. (remember the last day of C6) you looked Shattered!!!! but was still able to mumble a couple of words, like cooofffeee * and sleeeep *. I have a lot more photos than what I have posted, but they are not suitable for general exhibition. LOL!!! If I have dodgey photos, I always ask the subjects permission before posting.... Like Jez's impression of basic instinct.... he he NO dress up for you this time? I missed willy wonka! I love our shot... you two make me look important in it. Don't you agree:? PS: you have great smile!!!! like to see it a lot more. Lovin ya from here: Shabs Shabs, dear, every photo you have of me is dodgy - I don't look good in photos but if you email me some of the dodgy ones in question, I may just allow you to post them for my general embarassment - you are good at doing that, after all (Saturday night in the IBIS - I need to get you back for that man!) I might do a costume next time - I had to get one sorted pretty quickly for a party on Saturday, was only told yesterday (!!!) so maybe next time, if I go to the party or if I'm not crewing again, I'll wear that one :) Take care matey! xxx
  9. Always see him at Collectormania and London, he's just a regular like everyone else
  10. Awww thank you I couldn't not see you all of you lot - whether I'm crewing or not, I'll come and badger everyone Best bits for me - Both of the Billy talks; Good God, that man makes me chuckle...also, getting him to admit he fancies Chewbacca. Getting to see everyone again - damn me for living at the wrong end of the country! Jeff Wayne - That's another dream fulfilled. What a legend. Getting to see my best friends again - even though we live in the same city, known each other for years, we never get to see each other - it was just a weekend full of laughing and madness...loved it. Happy belated birthday by the way, Christa!
  11. I'd say Billy Boyd or Adam Baldwin, judging by the length of queues and talk capacity - or Matthew Wood
  12. To be honest, most people will want to see more than one of those talks - it makes more financial sense to release them in a lump, rather than individually - it takes forever to edit too, I know it's an ongoing thing but SM's still want to release them, I suppose it's just a question of finding the time to do it; afterall, they're already organising LFACC4 and C8 too so we'll have to wait and see :)
  13. You tend to get the same people turning up to these things, trying to blag their way through or annoy crew members, public, guests etc the best they can...you start to recognise them after a few events. It's rather sad they can find nothing better to do really...had one guy and his kid at LFACC2 who'd paid for one auto and tried to squeeze 6 more out of Nick Frost - when I told him he'd only paid for one, his kid was suddenly suffering from every life - threatening condition under the sun and would die there and then if Nick didn't sign - I couldn't believe it. Luckily, Nick chose to take a well time loo break at that moment and disappeared. People will try and do anything.
  14. Heh heh now that would be cool! Can't guarantee they'd get them back by the end of the day though lol
  15. Being a crew member in the past myself, a lot of the time, guests are moved without us being told quick enough because that guest wants more exposure, so to speak, so is moved, via their agent. It's a fairly impromptu decision most of the time and usually organised pretty hastily to accomodate the guest - it really isn't a crew member's fault if the relevant info hasn't been filtered through to them and/or the organisers booth yet. People always seem to forget that as crew members, we have to be as accomodating to the guests as we can, no matter what the request (and we've had to accomodate some pretty silly ones!)- if that crew member told you they should have been in the Elivira section, that's what they will have been told in the briefing of the morning. As I said, guests get moved and half the time, there's too many bits of info flying around the place that we have to pass on - we can't be expected to remember everything. Not meant to be an offensive comment, just trying to explain :)
  16. There are sillier topics on here - it's the general mood here I didn't recognise him, I did a bit of a double take...but I like it, think it suits him - maybe he did it to rebel after having to have a short, military haircut for the part for so long lol
  17. When I got there, I didn't know whether it was a case of buy something and that counts as the fee or buy then pay for the signature separately - to be truthful, he rarely, rarely signs, and for such a musical genius, I willingly paid it. I'll happily support a man such as Jeff Wayne, especially as he seems to be such a goldmine of knowledge on music.
  18. Sandro Kopp could have a stall with some of his art work on too, him being a pretty good artist - seen some of his work, it's impressive. Personally, although I love the principle actors, I'd love to see some of the 'minor' cast members....would love to meet Robyn Malcolm, I've heard glowing accounts about her :)
  19. Shabs! Ello, it's Naomi :) I really don't remember you taking that pic of me you've got in the collage, Shabs...I'm either going sane or getting old... Good to see you again...good job you didn't see me first thing in the morning on Saturday, I was not a pretty picture - you wouldn't have approved Take care, have fun!

  21. If Collectormania was moved from MK: the centre, people would complain about the lack of places to eat during the day, which seems to be a constant niggling point. I really say keep it where it is...I'm fine travelling from Liverpool and back again, and it's a nice cool atmosphere whatever the weather...and as it was my first ever con, I have too many good memories in the place
  22. Guy hugs are good! Cher, you were there at Garfunkels with us on Friday night, weren't you?
  23. Ended up in the Ibis on Saturday night with Troy (ptenbob) and the rest of the crew members so bumped into Shabs, Crista, Roxy and a few other people whose names I didn't catch...if you saw me, I was the girl in a bluey-green kind of patch work top with a dusky pink hat and long brown hair. Just as me and my friend arrived at the Tournament, our friends decided to move on to the Ibis so if I didn't see you, sorry!
  24. I went to both of his talks and I don't think I've laughed that hard for a while - I almost regretted asking him what the most surreal thing he'd ever done was when he replied that it was going to a very exclusive showbiz party with Dom dressed as Batman and Robin because Dom had fibbed and said it was fancy dress...the worrying part was a little bit afterwards when he mentioned fancying Chewbacca?!!! You've gotta love the guy - he's got just as random a sense of humour as my friends and I so we always get on so well with him every time we meet him. He'll always be welcome at a SM's event as far as I'm concerned - I just become an even bigger fan of him everytime I meet him - such a humble, grounded and comical guy...he refuses to be labelled as a celebrity which I honestly admire him for, and I really admire the fact he will express what he feels, no matter how random, mad or eccentric he will appear. He's the true meaning of a star to me. PS - anybody else remember his impression of Dom in Hetty from the talk on Sunday?
