I'll be going down from Leeds too, think we're driving on the Friday night which should be entertaining...

I noticed the excessive amount of trading cards and autos/film photos, but that's down to the dealers, not Showmasters. Hopefully different dealers will come and go as the event gains prestige over the next few years... Are there any dealers around on the forum? I wonder what their take on everything was...

The only problems I found were the lack of places to sit and things to do whilst waiting. There's only so many times one can sit in the cafe or look round the stalls. That's only a venue restriction though, we can't have everything. The guest layout was a bit mad too, but I also think Showmasters will learn by their mistakes and so have high hopes for next time. I thought the isles were wider than they are in MK and we had no bemused shoppers to contend with which was all good. The crew members we encountered were fantastic - friendly, polite, and did everything in their power to help us. Showmasters will iron out the problems over future events. Give them their due and give them a break, this was their first C-Mex as well as ours.

Does that mean we can't order any from now on?! I know I should have done it sooner but I've only just realised how close it is!!

I'll be hopping on the train in Liverpool so Manc is all of 45 minutes away

C9 would be a safer bet, but Manc just makes sense Come on SM's...

It was mentioned a while back, but I like C-Mex, just has a nice ring to it

I'm sooo backing this one!! There's so many amazing people in that film that relate to other films (Andy, Steve, Chris Eccleston) so they'd be well worth having...

There's no guests I'll be meeting atm, but it's only an hour or so away for me too so I'll be there

I'd love to see Royd again I was talking to him and his friend at the party at C6 and he was so lovely. He was more than happy to chat/personalise/pose so yep, perfect guest!!

John called the little boy in the queue infront of me a little hobbit and the boy said he was an elf "actually"!! Cutest thing When I told John my name was Helen, he said "ahh, Helen back..." and I didn't get it at ALL! Was too starstruck to process rational thought so I just laughed... Later my auntie happened to mention it again and I realised he meant "Hell and back" lol

I think it was the one on the far right in the pic that chased me...
