  1. I think Tom went off for lunch unexpectedly, without giving the chance for the crew to close the queue and let those already there to get ther stuff signed. Sorry you had problems Good point, although i'm sure if you suggested it at the time you would have been okay.
  2. Young people did wear clothes like that about 50 years ago - Doctor Who is a time travel show! I would rather see him 'stand out from the crowd'.
  3. I loved it, far better than the previous two films. They may have cut a lot out of it but I think they did it well tbh. Does anyone know if they are filming the last three back-to-back? I mean Tim Spall was in it for about 20 seconds and he's one of the best actors on set! Shame he's being wasted playing Wormtail.
  4. Can't see Rowan Atkinson doing anything like this, he's notoriously private and very rarely gives interviews, never mind making public appearances.
  5. Something tells me LFCC needs a party to help those shy people relax a little!
  6. Yeah the TARDIS looks very much like William Hartnell's orignal one in 1963.
  7. Are we restarting this league for the new season? I would do one but there'll be no point if we can start this one up again.
  8. Can I advise anyone putting their e-mails in to leave a gap someone as 'Spambots' are likely to pick up on your e-mail addy and send you a load of crap.
  9. Just thought I’ll share James Moran's blog post with you, where he reveals he has been verbally abused by some sad 'cyber warriors' for Episode 4 of CoE. http://jamesmoran.blogspot.com/2009/07/stepping-back.html Despite it being a work of FICTON and the best piece of television this year I still can't believe people would go as far as sending a television writer abuse. It's well out of order and no proper fans would stoop to such idiocy. It makes me sad as this as spoiled a wonderful week for Torchwood in gerenal, Sad, sad people.
  10. As good as he his, I hope they don't bring him back. It would spoil a truly wonderful but heartbreaking scene.
  11. And neither is Murray, although it's not his fault he's been overhyped so much.
  12. well he's done as well as Tim Henman did so far at wimbledon, yes he's 100x the player henman ever was, but he still seams to go to peices at the big game, he lost his temprement so much during the rodic game the other day, Tim Henman reached FOUR semi-finals and played one, if not the best grass court player of all time in two of them. I don't think Murray is that special, he's been overhyped so much that I actually don't think he's any better than Henman was in his pomp.
  13. Murray just isn't good enough at the moment, Federer and Nadal are way better than anyone else. Murray had his best chance of reaching the final (what with Nadal out and the easy draw he got) and blew it, you can't deny that. I just want to meet those people who paid £4000 for a £100 ticket for the final, in the hope that Murray would be there, so I can laugh at them!
  14. If Andy makes the final, anyone fancy a ticket? Someone is selling them for 20 GRAND! http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/tennis/article6620484.ece ://http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sp...cle6620484.ece ://http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sp...cle6620484.ece ://http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sp...cle6620484.ece I could buy 80 SEASON TICKETS at my local football club for that and they're in the Premiership! Hyestria? I think so! EDIT: Just had a look on ebay, someones bid £4000 to watch the men's final. I hope it's straight sets!
  15. That's very much how I feel about him, I don't know what it is but there's something about him that seems quite sinister! I like tennis but I hate the fact that it seems only middle-class people can afford to play it. The goverment should offer free use of tennis courts and coaching to ALL children, so maybe in the future we'll have a better chance at winning something!
  16. Quite ironically, i've just recently watched the episode of Swiss Toni he's in along with fellow LFCC guest Tom Baker!
  17. Sportscity (City of Manchester Stadium) is a bit out of the way for those not used to the Mertolink or Bus routes, plus its far too big! The New Century Hall would be perfect. It's the right size and in a good central location, as its right near Victoria station and the MEN Arena. http://www.newcenturyhouse.co.uk/main.htm
  18. I honestly thought that was one of the best episodes of Lost. It had perfect pacing and a fantastic twist at the end. Plus it answered a lot of questions about the overall story too! Just hope they don't kill off Faraday!
  19. I agree, Ben is by far the most intresting character. My money (if I had any) is on Juilet to die.
  20. If they couldn't afford to keep him on, then there was nothing they could have done. I don't know, falling viewing figures, shorter seasons, budget cuts, actors leaving. Is this the beginning of the end for Heroes?
  21. I thought it was the best episode of the series tbh. It had tension, suspense and the actors showed that they can actually act! I really hope the next series/volume will introduce new characters and give those ones that have had a lot of backstory (i.e Mohinder/Claire/Peter etc) a rest. It looks like 'Sylar' (as played by Zach Quinto) won't be around much, so that's a start!
  22. cyberdrunk

    Matt Smith?

Peter Davison was 29 when he was the Doctor so age hasn't got anything to do with it. Don't forget he's playing a 900-year old Time Lord, not a 26 year-old. That's the whole point in 'renegention', turning into a old-looking man would be pointless! As far as looks go - he looks more like a 'proper' Time Lord than any other Doctor, if he can act like it too, everyone will be coming back here in a years time and saying 'hes the best Doctor ever'. You watch!
  23. As soon as the episode came on - it was like the show hadn't been away! It was a very strong opening. It seems this series will be a lot darker from what we've seen so far, even in Life on Mars. Police corruption seems to be the main plotline. I think the change is tone is very welcome, seeing as the first episode of last series was a little slapstick to say the least! Other than that, I thought that introducing someone who knows that Alex is in the wrong time, is very intresting. The early ratings for this episode are 7 million - the highest in its time slot. So a decent start all round!
