Thanks for your suggestions. Sadly as a lowly intern, smashing my credit card isn't really an option, as much as I'd love to get a gold pass. I've e-mailed the shop. Any idea how long they should take to get back to me? I e-mailed on Friday night but no word yet (I assume they don't work the weekends, but want to hear back soon).

I understand and thank you for your help. I've e-mailed. I'm hoping we might be able to move it to the Sunday, if not, I guess a refund will soften the crushed dreams Oh well, shows how silly I was not to book this for myself.

This is turning out to be quite a sad birthday.

My parents have just surprised me for my birthday with tickets to get a photo with Michael J Fox on Saturday. I realised I didn't have tickets to the event so I rushed here to book tickets only to see they've sold out. It will be absolutely devastating to miss this and heartbreak for my parents to spend that money unnecessarily. Will I still be able to get my photo? Can I get tickets on the day? Could I move my photo to Sunday. Please help. I'm kind of freaking out here!

I thought Adam Baldwin was great! He happily talked to me for quite a while about working with Kubrick and what he thinks of the state of the modern film industry. He was also happy to hear I was there for my birthday. Sadly next to him was Jewel Staite, I'd met her before and she was lovely but today she just seemed completely put out. It was about 10am, so still early I guess but she was nonplused about my birthday and made it quite clear she had no real interest in chatting with me. Shame as she was so nice last time.

I went to the event with the smallest hope that I would meet someone nice but unfortunately I am too shy, so I'm wondering if anybody met anybody at the event and has a nice story?

I finally completed my collection of Chuck and Y the Last Man comics got a blu-rays of Watchmen, Coraline and Dollhouse season 1 a canvas print of a picture from Toy Story a drag me to hell poster and Hellboy 2 poster and nothing much else (cost me bout £150)

I was a cute bloke in a white t-shirt... but I doubt you were talking about me, my photo is up in the pictures section and yes I am single.

She was just perfect, lovely and sweet. Not the greatest time I've had at one of these but it was alright. Also met Josh Herdman, but didn't get a photo, we just talked about a mutual friend.
