  1. Sorry if this has already been asked. I have a DP for David and was wondering if we HAVE to have the photo with him and the TARDIS if he's doing a regular shoot too? I know usually you can't change the DP shoot but that's usually because the DP is the regular one. Surely no one would mind me taking the cheaper option one (without looking for any compensation)?
  2. Despite this being my fourth year with Showmasters I've never had a Diamond Pass - and now I've got 3 for this years with each Doctor! As much as I dream of meeting him, please dont try and get David Tennant, I couldn't afford Matt as it is
  3. Booked for the Midnight screening on the Thursday in the Odeon lounge
  4. I’m currently making my way through all the stories I’ve got and then never watched because of various reasons (life got busy!) I started with The Sensorites (really enjoyed it) and The Reign of Terror (good story but the god-awful animation of Eps 4 & 5 ruined it for me). Im now watching The Enemy of the World before moving onto The Krotons, The Ambassadors of Death, Colony in Space, The Daemons, The Mutants, Invasion of the Dinosaurs, Death to the Daleks, Terror of the Zygons, The Android Invasion, The Masque of Mandragora, The Face of Evil, and The Robots of Death. The last 3 I saw when I was a lot younger on UKTV at about 4am so I don’t remember them at all!
  5. I'm incredibly saddened by her death. The Tomb of the Cybermen was one of the first classic Who stories I watched and ever since then I fell in love with the trio of 2-Jamie-Victoria. I had had the pleasure of meeting her last year at Bournemouth Film & Comic Con where she was probably one of the nicest guests I've ever met at a Showmasters event. She will definitely be sorely missed.
  6. Possible spoiler alert but he also said he was unable to attend another event that weekend because he was "already committed to Showmasters". Probably just waiting for contracts to be finalised
  7. I meant strict in the sense of - trying everything to allow everyone who wants to meet him. Wether that be no personalising, the VQ line being handled more, less time to chat to him than others etc. It's just common sense that you're not going to get to meet him for as long as even some of the other Diamond Guests
  8. I know this is different from US shows but don't let it put you off though! LFCC is an amazing Con to attend! I believe the reason behind why more people can be in the photos in the US is (and don't quote me on this) because of the price of them. Guests generally don't get paid to attend shows in the US which is why they hike up their prices - look at Emily Kinney, £25 for LFCC but $60 auto and $80 photo elsewhere. With prices being so high it allows more people to get one but since the prices are lower at LFCC people can generally afford it. However, BC is a totally different league of his own so will be different, and busy, which is why rules have to be more strict.
  9. Another amazing Doctor Who guest on Saturday only. I'm so gutted

  12. My train is scheduled to arrive at the NEC at 10.50 on the Sunday and I have a photoshoot with Bonnie Langford at 10.55. Unfortunately, I had to buy the tickets by Monday at the latest so wasn't able to wait for the schedule. What happens if my train is late and I miss it? Since it's only 5 minutes and it's the only shoot she's doing.
  13. I thought it was really good but definitely suffered from the Moffat era syndrome. Most episodes since Series 7 have had really good beginnings, great middles and then very disappointing endings (The Power of Three being the best example). Still, the episodes have definitely been great and have made up for the year break.
  14. It's the best one of them all in my opinion
  15. I've particularly liked: Shrek 2 Spiderman 2 Pitch Perfect 2 Star Trek Into Darkness (my favourite of the reboot movies) Star Wars VII Star Wars III (technically as sequel to TPM and AotC) X-Men 2 and 3 Iron Man 3 Captain America 2 i can't think of any more of the top of my head
  16. I wasn't aware of that rule - sorry! But it has been changed and not by me to I'm assuming the mods did it
  17. Same. Was actually debating traveling to Newcastle (from London!) to meet him. All the others (except Lalla) are Sunday so I chose that day. So gutted
  18. I really like The Edge of Destruction- I think it's a nice little two-parter after a quite full on two first stories. And it was very important for establishing that the TARDIS is alive. It also gave the actors room to breath and establish their characters a bit more. Granted it's not something I'd put on for fun but after watching the first two it's a nice little breath of fresh air.
  19. My favourite/least favourite for each Doctor are as follows. This doesn't include the 8th or War Doctors or any anniversary/multi-Doctor Story: 1st: The Aztects/The Space Museum 2nd: The Tomb of the Cybermen/The Mind Robber 3rd: The Time Warrior/The Time Monster 4th: The Ribos Operation/The Leisure Hive 5th: Black Orchid/Snakedance 6th: The Mark of the Rani/The Twin Dilemma 7th: Survival/ The Happiness Patrol 9th: Dalek/The Long Game 10th: The Waters of Mars/Fear Her 11th: Amy's Choice/Hide 12: The Magician's Apprentice & The Witche's Familiar/Sleep No More
  20. I love the movie! It was one of the first classic stories I watched and I fell for it. Watching now I can see a few issues with the story, but I love Daphne Ashbrook and Eric Roberts wasn't a bad Master (The Master really came out in his performance when he got into his robes in my opinion!). But most importantly, it showed that the 8th Doctor lived up to the character and was brilliant in his own right all in 70 minutes (since he wasn't in the first 20!)
  21. I'm re-watching Peter Capaldi's era before the new series starts next week (including the first episode of Class). I'm currently on Mummy on the Orient Express
  22. Mine are: 1) Peter Davison 2) Christopher Eccleston 3) Paul McCann 4) David Tennant 5/6) Colin Baker/Sylvester McCoy (Equal and can't decide) 7) William Hartnell 8) Patrick Troughton 9) John Hurt 10) Jon Pertwee 11) Peter Capaldi 12) Tom Baker 13) Matt Smith It's not that I think any are bad or better than one another - this is simply a list of who's my favourite.
