  1. The lady was offering for me to take my photo again either Saturday or Sunday but I was only there for the Friday. They only offer a refund if the guest cancels.
  2. Hi, I hope that I'm panicing over nothing. The lady in the red tshirt at the Sales Desk on Friday compensated for me missing my Tom Savini photoshoot (due to power probs in Photo Area C) with two vouchers (totalling £15) to use at another SM event. At closer inspection when I got home, the voucher os only valid for events in 2014! Can someone please tell me if this voucher I was compensated with will still be valid? Thank you
  3. Most of my guests were photoshoots, so not proper meets but they were all friendly. My favourite meet has to go to Donald Fullilove as he was the only guest I had a proper chat with on Friday. Got to quote one of my favourite lines from BTTF, "I'm gonna clean up this town!". A genuinely nice all round guy. :)
  4. I went Friday and there was a couple of instances of where I was pushed out of the way without an "Excuse me please" and they weren't even in a rush! As the event gets more popular there are just going to be even more of these a-holes. Didnt have this much rudeness in past SM events.
  5. Great guy! I asked if we could do a soldier salute like in Top Gun but he responded saying, "you're not a soldier, you're a slacker!" :)

I had a good day: Positives: Better venue All guests lovely Crew very, very helpful (bar one) Negatives: The crew member sitting at Marc McClure's table was a miserable sod who needs a lesson in customer service. Ruined my experience meeting Marc and needs to be disciplined tbh. Having to sacrifice missing Tom Savini's shoot in order to get to Neve Campbell's photo shoot. This was due to power problems in Photo Area C making JDF's shoot go over schedule. Got refund for my trouble though. Overall, a good day and I hope the problems they had today will be learnt and sorted before tomorrow. Have a great weekend guys :)
  7. Tom Savini got through everyone later. He started only marginally late at 6.35. Did you have to leave? If so of course you'll get your money back or you can reschedule if you're attending tomorrow or Sunday.Thank you all for your help.I explained my situation to the Sales Desk and, as Im not back for the rest of the weekend, they gave me £15 auto vouchers for another Con. Much appreciated :)
  8. What is going on with the photo areas? Photo Area C has power probs and had to sacrifice Tom Savini to get to Neve Campbell and the RDA shoot is overrunning? And where the hell are the crew?!? Not happy losing money

  12. Yes you will probably need a hoverboard, but if you go over water, make sure you have power!Unfortunately you'll need to factor in the crowds you have to get through. I'm so glad I'm not going Saturday!

  16. I would recommend going to Kenny Baker's first as that finishes before the MJF shoot.
  17. Anyone else bought a photoshoot now that they know the schedule? I just bought a Neve Campbell Batch 3 shoot for the Friday. :)
  18. Should be up Monday :)Yeah, I cant wait for this so that I know how far I have to walk lol. Quite like to attend the Gremlins Talk on Friday but cant if its far from Photo Area C.
  19. Im happy with the photoshoot schedule for Friday (have a nice 2.5 hr break in the middle to get othet stuff done). Even though I'll be hanging around Photo booth C for most of the day lol :)
  20. Only two minor overlaps on the Friday. Just hope that the photo boothes won't be too far apart! :)
