But it can also work on the flipside as well in that a VQ guest becomes an open queue.

Price yourself lucky. The main thing I remember about Ice Pirates is that I wanted the movie to be over with as soon as possible xD I may have done too and it could be why I've not watched it since. I know I've watched some dire stuff in my time. Mind you I remember when I watched Aliens the first time and was bored stupid. -
Ooo I'll have company - it's been pretty lonely here for the past two months I can tell you

I don't think he will be. He was only an 80s sidekick really. You can tell who will be busy by how many posts there are in the guest announcement threads. I wouldnt necessarily put too more store in that as there'll be plenty of attendees who don't use the forums.

For me I remember Ron firstly as Salvatore in Name of the Rose, then as Vincent in Beauty and the Beast and lastly in Alien Resurrection. Just looking at his scope of work I'd also have watched him in Ice Pirates but I only ever watched it once not long after it came out and dont really recall any of it :-( -
And for advance planning you can also use the tfl website.

No running!

What type of entry ticket do you have? You cannot get VQs until the show opens as reads from your post that you think you can get them before.

You also have the issue that actors have been in several productions so what do you do with the likes of Rusty Goffe or Garrick Haggon, both have been in Star Wars and Dr Who. Same with Simon as he's been in other productions as well - I know him from something else he did.- 15 replies

If you want a specific print it is always best to make sure you have your own as if SM said a specific print was going to be there on the day it is entirely possible that by the time you got to the guest that they had all gone. -

I could sit listening to him reading the shipping forecast and be happy. -
The full list of prop shoots usually appears on the schedule but as it's normally pay when you have it taken there's not much likelihood of them selling out :-)

Patience, young padawan! I am sure it will happen tomorrow. Office is closed now. A guest announcement can be done while out, but the system needs to be accessed during office hours. Of course. I have been, and still am, holding back from buying photoshoot tickets in case something better like this comes along, and to avoid any clashes. The only way you can guarantee no clashes is to buy a maximum of one ticket per day -

Lovely lady who I look forward to chatting to again -
The schedule of when photoshoots and talks are on isnt released until a couple of weeks before the event. It may help you though being a newbie if you read the FAQ thread.

You can ask but there is no guarantee that he will. Some guests are happy to sign anything, others not. Ther may be a sign up on the day or you can ask the crew working with him whether he'd be happy to sign. You only get one shot taken for each shoot you purchase. The exception is if there is something wrong with the print, e.g. in my case reflective flash on my glasses which means a retake but you would only taken one print away with you.

Yes but you get two prints.
