Thanks for this post as there are some very good learning experiences and excellent points forward which I also noted. Next time I'll go for both days in order to split the autographs and photoshoots. Joined the prepaid queue at 8am on Sunday and was in the venue 15/20 minutes after 9 but as a result my VT for Summer Glau and other big guests were in the mid/high 200s. Next time I will go really early one day for the key autographs I want and work the photoshoots around this or even do these on the second day.

I also loved the costumes. One girl in particular on Sunday morning in the queue who was dressed as Freddy Kruger was brilliant. The makeup and costume were amazing. I was scared just looking at her she was that good.

As this was my first time attending a Comic Con I have to say that anyone I spoke to at the event and everyone general were so nice and friendly. Just thought I'd mention as the main focus tends to be on the guests.

Almost had a heart attack. Thankfully she has not cancelled :-)

Hi, In relation to virtual tickets I assume these are for autographs. Am I correct in that the photo shoot tickets are separate and don't require one. Apologies in advance, f&l

Reasonable budget of 200-250 on autographs/photoshoots as it's my first comic con.

Good post. It's my first Comic Con so I'm a bit nervous so I'll probably go with smart casual.
