  1. Excellent work!! :-D I finally had a chance to sit and watch (It's a long vid!) Great to see, as it's got possibly everyone who did the record attempt? I spotted my partner and I walking in at about 21:57, which was really cool. :-D
  2. Just uploaded a small number of our photos... Out of curiosity, does anyone recognise and maybe know the contact details for the couple in the last photo? (Hege and Hans-Michael from Norway) We made good friends with them, but lost their contact details. Would love to get in touch!
  3. We only had the chance (and money lol!) to get two of the captains. My girlfriend really loves Kate, but she didn't even glance up or say anything when being greeted. I got Bill, and the guy in front of me said he'd paid £80 for two autographs and the crew hadn't noticed and were being really awkward, so Bill just said "don't worry about it" and signed both items for the guy. It felt like he was more bothered about the fan, than messing them around because the crew hadn't checked properly. Yes, he was very quick with my autograph, but he's been doing this for years and years and used to long queues. You kinda can't blame him, and he was pleasant enough with it and looked up and acknowledged me. However, when he caught sight of my girlfriend (dressed as Seven of Nine) he had a big smile and said "Wow! What a costume!" which was cool. I did wonder if Mulgrew's seeming dislike of the Seven of Nine character had anything to do with how she was.
  4. I was wondering... There were two guys going around videoing and doing interviews (My girlfriend and I were interviewed). I wondered if anyone knew who/what they were filming for? They covered pretty much everything, including being on stage for the World Record, so they were obviously there in some professional capacity. Any ideas?
  5. My girlfriend and I were about 3 or 4 rows back right of center, so should jusssttt about be visible on the full photo, I would think (though a guy got his hand in front of her face... grrr!) We were able to spot ourselves on the low-res pic, but only because we knew what where we were. We're a group of about 10 pixels each lol!
  6. Sorry to hear!! I know how frustrating it can be, as I had a similar problem years ago at a convention. I almost had a similar problem, but I was lucky enough to have transferred everything just before discovering my memory card had gone belly-up.
  7. Great question, Chewer! I'd like to know that as well. I'd also love to know where we can download a high res copy of the photo? There's only a small pixelated version floating around at the mo. Better than nothing, but nowhere near the level of detail the original will obviously have. (Good choice of uniform, by the way! ;-) )
  8. I have to admit, I had kind of presumed they would be releasing a DVD at some point, due to all the cameras filming at the talks, figuring they weren't just there for reproducing actors on the big screen for people watching from a distance. It'd be a shame if they didn't, especially considering we weren't allowed to video any of the talks except for the opening ceremony. It would be a really nice memento after-the-fact.
  9. Beauregard, if you click the magnifying glass (above and to right of image) then select 'view all sizes' at the top right of the popup from that, you then get a page showing all the available sizes, including the original at 1038 x 1724. :)
  10. Beauregard-UK, don't know if you've seen this photo? 'fraid I never saw you there in the suit, but it looked damn good! http://www.flickr.com/photos/currentobsession/8116691864/
  11. Just spotted, it does actually say: "1 Exclusive rare signed card" So technically I suppose it's correct. I wonder how a small minor character auto works out as being 'better' than a full size main character auto? I'm not majorly complaining. Still good to get, but, as I said before, it was a bit of an eyebrow raiser.
  12. Platinum and you didn't even get one?? Sheesh! Now that's where the organising has clearly fallen over...
  13. Nope, we got a postcard-sized Vaughn Armstrong, who was in 18 eps of Enterprise. (by the way, check the other thread, photos for you!) Like I said above, no offence to the actor, nice to have his auto, but hardly compares to a major one like Ethan Phillips.
  14. That would be fantastic to see when you get it, thanks! :) And thanks for the compliment on her costume she spent ages getting it right. I'll try and grab a couple of stills for you, from my vid. **EDIT** Not sure how to upload photos here, so just go to http://www.wdlee.co....r_and_alice.zip. I zipped up four photos from the vid (2 of each of you). They're not the greatest quality, since they're vid grabs, but hopefully good fun! :-) Sometime in the near future, I'll do a little edit of the costume parade!
  15. I'd like to echo that, Berber! It would be great to see any photos people took. I was in a straight forward Wrath of Khan-style uniform, but my girlfriend was in full Seven of Nine costume (link) so we/she got asked to stop for a lot of photos that it would be great to see. :) Was the tenth Doc you were with in the costume parade on the Sunday? If so, I don't have photos but should have him on video. :) (It's in HD, so can grab reasonable stills as well) One of the funiest/cutest photos we ended up with was when a couple with their baby in starfleet uniform, asked my girlfriend to hold him for a photo. Would love to see the proper photo of that (I only managed a quick photo on my mobile)
