Come on ME!!! How can people buy tickets for8.3 when its not on the website!!!! It wasn't even publicised at LFCC. What's going on. Is it cancelled????

I missed my photo shoot on Sunday with RDA as it took so long to get in and even tho we got there just before it was due close I was told that I had to come back at 3.20. We had to leave before then so asked at the desk for a refund but was told that I had to email showmasters. I have done so but no reply. Looking on the forum, apparently lots of people were getting refunds on the day. How is this fair???? Why some and not others. Come on showmasters. Step up. I'm not going away!!!

such a shame Martin has had to cancel, i was really looking forward to meeting him. So... who would you like to see in his place!!!! Maybe Neil Jackson ( son of Anubis ) Robert Picardo , Tony Amendola would be awesome, but another Stargate lady would be great, maybe, Claudia Black or Morena Baccarin, i know, its a long shot but we can hope

looking forward to meeting up with buddies from last chevron, especially Kelly and Claire and making new ones, so excited about this con some fab guests attending and the sunday night quiz/party. had to leave early last time so missed out but definately making sure i stay this time. heard it was a scream not long now

can anybody tell me if, having bought a gold ticket, does this cover all guest signings and photo shoots? it does say on ticket packages that it's up to 6 signings, but as this the first chevron that has more than 6 guests will we be expected to pay extra for the other 2 / 4 guests? not sure whats the deal

i'm really pleased to know that i can book a room and pay for it when i get there, thanks for the info, puts my mind at rest, i would hate to miss this con. i go without holidays etc so i can pay for these cons, sad arn't i?? i am a late comer to conventions and love my time at them, great people, good fun. thanks guys for helping me

my point was that if all the rooms that are allocated for the con by ME are used up then i cannot afford £200 a night for a room, buying a gold ticket also would jump the price up to over £800 pounds. How many rooms are allocated on the special rate?? I'm only a lowly factory worker so my income is limited, surely everybody should have a chance to attend, not just those who have fantastically paid jobs. some people haevn't the money saved up by time the code is released, which was happened to my on the last chevron. when i called the hotel, all the con rate rooms had gone but we got a deal at a booking site. If i haven't got the money to pay when the code goes out then i simply wont be able to go. it may be a great hotel but it ain.t worth that much, the idea of staying at another hotel stinks, the whole point is to stay at the same hotel as the con, the radisson at heathrow is a 4 star hotel but they dont charge £220 for a single room. !!

i wanted to get some feedback about hotel prices from all you out there! have been to 2 chevrons and got ticket to 7.9 ( yipee ) and would really really like to go Happily Ever After next may, but the hotel prices are making me think twice. The hilton at birmingham is so expensive, i know that if you get the deal with ME its cheaper but last time at the radisson, we missed out but still got a good deal with laterooms.com so all was well. i've looked at these hotel booking sites to see if the deals are good but no go. a single room is over £220 a night, thats over £600 for 3 nights. no way on earth can i afford that, its really making me think about not going, which is pants. i'm sure i'm not the only one that will be shocked at these prices. i save hard to go to these cons but that is just out of reach, i cant justify that outlay, and cant buy a gold ticket and hope that i get in on the room deal with ME, let me know what you all think, no point in staying at different hotel, maybe the venue can be changed??

we got the con bug too not just me and my daughter then! Gave it to hubby, he was really pleased, still coughing, but heh, at least we all shared something

heh everyone, really looking forward to chevron and very excited bout meeting Amanda I have had some thoughts on auctions for dinners with celebs. Many attendees save up long and hard to be able to attend cons and would dearly love a chance to have dinner with Amanda etc but would not in a million years be able to take part as money very limited. how about a raffle type option in the future?? Obviously the ticket prices could reflect the cause/charity event but then everyone would be able to have a chance, it just seems a fairer way, letting everyone have a go and not just the wealthy guys, we all want to support said charities and maybe more could be raised this way

That bugger is well placed!! So disappointed at Chris cancelling. This my first convention and bought a gold ticket purely because of Chris and Ben and now both gone, how unfair is that!! Although the other guests are fab and will be good to meet them, its not quite the same is it. I have also bought a gold ticket for 7.8 because of Amanda Tapping, if this happens again then I will seriously question buying again for chevron, no members of SG1 or Atlantis team, do feel let down
