  1. Fantastic news for the July con - Jean Pierre Castaldi - but how about trying to get Leila Shenna the other person in the plane at the start of MOONRAKER who says "any higher Mr Bond and my ears will pop!" Failing that another 'Angel of Death' from OHMSS would go down a storm I am sure judging by Zara and Helen's queues.

Pele Tickets are now at 80% Sold

Does this apply to the photo shoot tickets or just the VIP ones?

    Prop Photos

Will there be any prop photos at Sportsmania - like a photo op with a WBC boxing belt or the FA Cup like previous Sportsmanias?

    Ed Mitchell

Sad to hear it guys, but Ed Mitchell, the sixth man on the moon and a frequent attender to Autographica has died at the age of 85. He was a good man and always willing to talk when you met him, as I did, and slowly but surely all the moonwalkers are leaving us. God Bless Ed.

With the unprecedented success of Michael Lonsdale, Vijay and Karin, how about for the next show trying to get Lois Chiles and maybe Yaphet Kotto, with a sprinkling of Carole Bouquet to be the cherry on the top?

Latest Guest Announcement - MICHAEL LONSDALE

Fantastic news - now Dave if only, if really only, you could get Gabriele Ferzetti who played Marc Ange Draco in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, now that would be the miracle. Can you do it?

    Astronaut Guests

Whilst we're on this subject - how about any of these from Europe and other nations - they would make great guests: Dumitru Dediu was a cosmonaut of the Romanian Air Force. In 1978, Dediu was selected as the backup for Dumitru Prunariu for the Soyuz 40 mission. He currently serves in the Romanian Army and lives in Bucharest. Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu is a retired Romanian astronaut who also flew aboard Soyuz 40. Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma is a former Indian Air Force test pilot who flew aboard Soyuz T-11 as part of the Intercosmos program. Sharma was the first Indian to travel in space. Vladimír Remek wais the first Czechoslovak in space and the first cosmonaut from a country other than the Soviet Union or the United States, He flew aboard Soyuz 28 from March 2 to March 10, 1978, for seven days, 22 hours, and 17 minutes. In 2004 he was elected into the European Parliament. Maidarzhavyn Ganzorig was a Mongolian scientist. In 1978, he participated in the Soviet Intercosmos program and trained for a Soyuz space flight.

Can't we get any Chinese astronauts such as Jing Haipeng, Liu Yang and Zhai Zhigang to come along - that would be fantastic or even Sigmund Jahn the German DDR astronaut?

    Paul Michael Glaser

Paul Michael Glaser, one of the stars of the American TV series Starsky and Hutch, will play Tevye in Craig Revel Horwood’s new touring production of the classic musical Fiddler on the Roof when it stops off at the Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton. The show, which visits Wolverhampton from 15 until 19 October, is one of 15 new productions confirmed for the Grand. What are the chances of getting Starsky for the show? Come on guys what fun would that be! Anybody agree? Running Ambassador

I think he means Anthony Zerbe - rather than Starke. What about trying for Yaphet Kotto and Barbara Carrera two biggies who have been lined up in the past but unable to attend.

Is it too early to start asking about a show next year?

Barbara Carrera or Yaphet Kotto are my suggestions - surely this year is the one for them?

He would be an excellent guest...

His contact details are as follows: Sigmund Jahn Fontanestraße 35 D-15344 Strausberg Germany If we all wrote inviting him, I bet he'd come - come on Showmasters - we've had first space walker and first British woman - how about first German?

He would be an excellent guest...

Sigmund Jähn, 74, was the first German in space. In 1978, Jähn, at the time a lieutenant colonel with the air force of the communist East Germany, orbited the Earth on board the Soviet space station Salyut 6.

    what about him? Last chance...

What about inviting Lieutenant General Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov (Russian: Михаи́л Тимофе́евич Кала́шников, Mihail Timofejevič Kalašnikov) (born 10 November 1919) a Russian small arms designer, most famous for designing the AK-47 assault rifle, the AKM and the AK-74. He is still alive and living in Russia in advancing years. What a coup to meetr and see such an intrinsic legend from 20th century.
