topmiler
Charlie Duke is listed as charging £90 per autograph. I notice that at another 'Autograph event' in Florida in November he's charging $100. Thats £62. Quite a difference.
jael001
He lives in the US, it'll be cheap to have him to an event over there. Consider the costs of bringing him over to the UK, flights, accommodation etc which will come to several thousand £s and that may be where the difference is. You really can't compare events in the US with events over here, everything's more expensive over here.

Then there's the 3 hour check in, taxi to the airport, Hotel accomodation. And don't forget to pack the sun tan cream even in November !!!!! topmiler
Are you suggesting that autograph fees are purposely inflated just because they're visiting the UK. Surely there should be no difference, the guest is having an all-in expenses paid trip, so they don't have to recoup any overheads. Just look at Buzz, he doesn't, base autograph $400ish in the US, £250 over here. No difference.
Count Fooku
To be honest its very unlikely Showmasters (or probably any other event organiser) are ever going to comment on what they pay each individual guest for their appearance at a show and the impact that has on the signing fee.
