Has anyone else had this problem?

OK, so I was supposed to be going to the LFCC but couldn't make it and so I emailed Mara @ showmasters to discuss the fact that I could no longer attend LFCC and she told me to email her after LFCC was over and she would see what she could do for me (which was really nice of her as it does state that there is no refunds etc) however all I wanted was to see if I could transfer the tickets from LFCC to the SFCC as I can attend that 1 and I didn't want to miss out all together on a showmasters event but I have emailed Mara about 6/7 times now and she still hasn't replied.

 

I am not bothered if they cant exchange my tickets (it was a long shot anyway) but what I do not appreciate is the fact that I haven't even had an email back to say whether or not she will exchange them.

 

I haven't been to a showmasters event yet so this will be my first one but from what I have heard about them I really really want to be able to attend one this year and even though im not bothered if I have to pay for the tickets again I am not seriously considering not going at all just because of their Customer Service, As a woman that works in Customer Care I would never even contemplate ignoring a customer.

 

Has anyone else had this problem?

I will say that (a) there have been a LOT of store emails coming in due to refunds etc, so it's possible that she hasn't got round to yours yet OR (B) perhaps yours haven't been getting through?

 

What email host are you using? There can be problems with Hotmail and Gmail sometimes.

I've already posted this in a couple of places: both Mara as well as the main office are simply severely backlogged. Mara has not been replying to emails because there was a higher four digit number of refunds to process and the priority was getting these done.

 

the last refunds just have been finished and now she's back to answering emails. please be patient a little longer.

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't aware of the refunds so I apologise 😊

I was just panicking as SFCC isn't too far away and if I need to buy the tickets then I'll do it soon.

I asked back in February if I could swap Cardiff March to Cardiff winter as my father in law had passed away.

 

I too got an email back within a few days saying to give them details and they would see what they could do, due to the circumstances it should be ok. So I emailed the details.

 

I heard nothing back, I sent one chaser email but i didn't chase it after as we had other things on our minds as you can imagine. I would have preferred if they had just said no straight away, as I changed the hotel dates when the email was so positive. Therefore loosing out on my travel insurance which could have covered it.

Oops, this thread just reminded me - still not posted my Giancarlo ticket back from LFCC for the refund - never mind >_<

 

you can still do that. there's no deadline for the refund. it might be a bit difficult if you post it back in 2017, but a few weeks don't matter.
