At least that's usually the case with the cars that are on display. I believe there was some confusion that last time this model made an appearnce. I did wonder the same thing - i.e. that some people thought it was the car from the film. After all, this is just a 1977-ish Chevy Camaro with a suitable paintjob... a nice car for sure (certainly to my taste), but nothing to do with the film at all. I saw it at a recent event and there was just a man with his arms folded and a big chain around it so you couldn't get close.
