  1. He was definately very cool, I got an autograph from him (actually my first auto from one of these events) He was very cool and talked to (at) me for quite a while and he was complimenting my minder's dress sense, haha! He happily posed with me and called me his evil plushie, and gave me scritches, hehe :3 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2801...mp;id=616384157
  2. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2806...mp;id=616384157 <-- I was the female fox :) You guys were awesome, very much enjoyed meeting you, great to see others having so much fun!! Hope to see you at another event soon!
  3. This is awesome but my coach doesnt get into london until 11 so I will miss him ;__________________________________________;
  4. The Sunday Harley is my sister, She doesnt have an account here, but I can give you her facebook address if you like.
  5. They said there was a facebook group where you'd be able to see the pictures, I hope so!
  6. After much work I have another costume pretty much finished for the sunday but I have a reference picture question. My character is a wolf version of a film character (Luther from the Rogues from the 1979 film The Warriors) so I don't have any reference pictures - though of course he is based on an actual film character and loosely on a maned wolf. Would it be best for me to bring references of the film character and the animal or just the film character.
  7. Easyhotel seems to be quite nice really for a budget hotel, stayed in the paddington one back in may. Only downer is there's no bar!! Vending machines anyone?!
  8. Me and my brother are staying at the easyhotel earls court, seems like there is quite a few of us!
  9. I was wondering the same thing, I am there from Fri-Mon so hoping to find something to do in the evenings, will probably end up going to see Bruno on one night though!
  10. Last year there was one but I think it charges £2.
  11. You could always get some liquid latex and paint it on in 4/5/6 layers? I've not tried it myself but it's been reccomended by other costumers... Perhaps a little too revealing though, but worth a thought perhaps if you're stuck. I'm sure it will work out fine for you in the end! Two weeks to go and things always fall apart to some extent! My sister who was coming as Harley Quinn lost her job as a hairdresser a couple of weeks ago, which is bad, and we found out they'd been ripping her off re: wages for a long time, but she got a new job on monday which is good - but since she's new at the job they won't let her take the saturday off... so I sadly have no Harley to accompany me! She MAY be able to come on the sunday though if she can get some of the money owed to her. I took this past week off to make a costume, and ugh - I deviated! So I didn't end up making anything new, just making the changes to my batgirl costume. Still, two weeks of evenings and weekends may provide me with some time to do something at least; or get an old costume out of retirement. Things will work out!!
  12. No just london, Glasgows a little too far for me!
  13. I'm pretty sure there was somewhere inside you can drop your bags off for a pound or two.
  14. When I'm in costume, I ALWAYS take a bag that "fits" with my costume. No matter how hard you try, people WILL take pictures of you carrying your handbag, wallet, goods that you've bought or whatever. You'd be kidding yourself to think that you'd not need to carry anything around with you, because you always need a purse etc. Last year I was poison ivy, so I brought with me a green planty type bag. It wasn't accurate as to what she would carry around with her because she doesnt carry bags, but it was better than a tescos bag or whatever! Don't forget to put your bag down when you have a picture taken, or hand it to someone you're with if you're lucky enough to go with non costumers (they may also carry around your purchases!) Make sure to put it to the side far enough so it doesn't get in the way of your costume picture - I've had many a photo that I've taken ruined by hoardes of purchases right infront of a really good costume. This year, My batgirl costume has 4 small pouches on the utility belt - about the size of a cigarette box each - so I've made a small pouch for my money to go in, I've got business cards in the next, a small pen in another and the other is empty. A little bit of pre-planning goes a long way!
