Mrs.CharCullen
Agree!! ( am only now getting that they were one person...) The volvo in the movie should have been the one from on stephenies site
jjthedq
YES, YES, YES, YES, and YES! I mourned the beautiful silver Volvo for ages, especially seeing it on screen. Hullo? Edward is not a soccer Mum! The film was too much of a Q&A session between Edward and Bella, and that's probably why so many people who haven't read the book don't like it. As fans, we can at least fill in the blanks, but non-book-readers are stuck listening to an enormous amount of Q&A scenes.
jess8619
aha. Agree, and they fell in love WAY too quickly. Kristen's man voice toward the end of the film was the most worrying thing I have heard in a long time.
Mrs.CharCullen
yes her voice was rather low The scene where they climb in the trees was too dramatic
jjthedq
I'm not sure, really. I didn't have much of an opinion either way, to be honest. Where the heck did Spidermonkey come from?! LizLucy92
i agree the spidermonkey quote was really bizarre. Jasper Should Have Had More Lines In The Film Edited February 11, 2009 by LizLucy92
Edwardsbackupgirl
agreed! jasper was way more "talkative" in the book than in the film. they made him out to be a constipated monkey in the film O_O lol ref: spider monkey comment: i think it came from the book of "random things to say in an improvised scene" hahahha cos well, that scene wasnt in the book, and was rather pointless lol but i loved it none the less. Lauren should have been in the movie. in the book she didnt have a huge part, but it would have been cool to have a bitchy character involved, add a bit of character per-se lol Edited February 11, 2009 by Edwardsbackupgirl
louisesuperstar
Agreed. We needed more characters. JACOB NEEDED A BIGGER ROLE!
jess8619
AGREE! Gah, I missed him. In the books, there were too many Clans of vampires.
Edwardsbackupgirl
hmmm yeah, but you didnt really get that feel in twilight, more in breakingdawn. i got lost on how many vamp clans there were lol disagree... ShootingStar
AGREE! All i kept hearing from friends I went to see it with who didn't know anything about the stories or the actors was "How can you find him hot? His hair is so icky!" I was like NOOOO! I just hope that when he has shorter hair in NM and hopefully *fingers crossed* we get some shirt off action, I can be like HA! Now you see what I mean! Bella kissing Jacob in Eclipse almsot made me throw my book at the wall.
Edwardsbackupgirl
AGREED! yeah when jacob kissed bella (not the other way around ) i was like "HOW DARE YOU! BIATCHE GET AWAY FROM HER!" hhahaha
jess8619
hahaha, while I on the other hand was like "YES, THAT'LL TEACH YOU, YOU FILTHY LEECH! GET IN THERE JACOB!" and I'm telling all my Edward friends too "Wait until NM" about Jacob. I'm like "Then you'll realise just what you're missing out on!" paha
talie
I agree purely as i felt so sorry for edward and was angry at bella :@ In breaking dawn we should've had a chapter from edwards pov.
jess8619
*Back to the game* Bella and Edward should never have had a baby, if Emmet and Rosalie and Alice and Jasper can't- then they shouldn't either. Even if she was human when they "Conceived"
jazz5490
^^^ Agreed but mostly cos I don't like the kid Kristen should have been told to keep her mouth shut a little more during the entire film . . .
ShootingStar
Disagreed, I didn't really notice her mouth open that much. Bella's Lullaby was so not how I imagined.
talie
No, I liked it. breaking dawn should've had a chapter/section from edwards pov
jazz5490
Hmm yes because I love Edwards povs (midnight sun) but no because I don't think the book needed it Breaking Dawn should have had more of a fight at the end . . . or Breaking dawn should have had a fight at the end fullstop
shan
Disagree. I like the fact that it was resolved with a more subtle mind-game sort of scenario, and it also leaves it kind of open for sequels (and don't forget fanfic!! XD ) Jacob's book should have been shorter in BD?
jazz5490
Agree / maybe non existant Still holding out for sequels? Esme's island . . . yay or nay lol
p388
YA! Now going to start saving for an Island honeymood, if I ever get married that is! They cast all the characters for the film perfectly!
jess8619
AGREE! although I think maybe Rosalie could've been a tiny bit prettier... The baseball scene was the best bit in the whole film, and exactly how I imagined it.
SugarSpunSister
Disagree (Nikki Reed is gorgeous) and Agree Baseball scene was wicked! Bella didn't seem obsessed enough with Edward, she was far to nonchalant!
shan
Esme's Island - YAYYY!!! Twilight soundtrack - good or bad? (I say baaadd =[ sorry! )
