Be warned, it might not be available to buy in the UK anymore, as the government were brining in a law banning the sale of all swords, including replica ones...

I like the idea of posing with it in the timeline room though.... might have to bring mine :D

++edit++

Catmoo... if you want to email me on chris.slinn@gmail.com I can let you know where I got mine from. I'm not a dealer in this kind of thing, but I still don't want to advertise the company I bought it from on here!

I'd love to see a few Kenseis running about the place! ;)

I seriously love the costume because I have a thing for Samurai and Japanese history-wish I could have studied it in school!

Me too, but I doubt anyone would be walking around in full costume? It looks awfully heavy and hot LOL

Probably not! You make an excellent point! Can't have anyone being uncomfortable all day! At least there will be some swords hopefully!

Quote from the actor portraying Kensei:

What it's like wearing the samurai costume?

"Hot. It's 40 pounds of armor. I've never been more exhausted in my whole life from acting. It's not as bad as I imagine a fat suit being — like Mike Myers in Austin Powers. At least I don't need a colostomy bag and a catheter."

Source (spoilers for those who have yet to see S2!).

Thanks, I'm sure if you're very proud of your sword then uniquities is for me :) I've been emailing them and they've put one by for me for at Midlands as they don't have too many left now due to the upcoming ban.

yes you can but you have to notify security when u arrive and keep it in its sheath at all times. once your done using it for photos etc u need to return it to your room. i am hoping there is a safe room or something to put my sword after as i'm staying at the travel lodge and not the park inn.
