Nikolai Posted September 2, 2007 Share Posted September 2, 2007 So now I'm no longer a con-virgin (never seemed to be able to get to the things when I lived oop north), I have to say I had a great time, even if it was a tad, uh, dark and had a few cancellations. I was just wondering if the various cosplayers posted on here and went to any other cons. I'm hoping to try and go to any local anime/manga ones and meet new and interesting people there, for no one local to me seems to be all that geeky. Tis a shame. I'd be especially happy to know who the Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson duo were if they're on here and if they go to other events. See, I finally remembered the names fully. Need to rewatch Trigun, methinks. Oh, and the other cosplayers of non-anime characters were great, especially the Capt. It was the Star Wars 30 Year anniversary and not a single Stormtrooper, I think I saw one Clonetrooper (Come on who honestly thinks Clonetroopers were cool) Episode 1, 2 and 3 did not exist! I was in fear of my life pointing a pulse rifle at him when they were taking photos of us. Saw the clonetrooper. Definitely going to join in with the fun next time, though! Anyone got any of me and Elli as the two Quidditch players from Saturday?
