People have come on here after and some people say they had a great time and some come on with a list of conplaints. It's the old "you can't please everyone all of the time". Fair enough on the hotel thing, but it's quite usual for people to post where they're staying. I understand if you don't want to say, I only wanted to know as it would help me advise you on walking or getting a taxi. surfy_sah Posted February 24, 2007 Share Posted February 24, 2007 I would just like to add that most of the regulars on here and alot of the newbies post where they are staying, it helps us all meet up and share taxies n stuff I mean, after all, who's going to go to a hotel reception and ask "hi could you tell me which room *insert forum user name* is styaing in please?" firstly the hotel would say wtf to the forum name and secondly they would more than likely refuse to give out that kinda info anyways! so you're pretty much safe to say where you are kipping! good luck trying to find a balanced view / experience of the parties btw. as Too Tall says, people either come on here and bitch/complain or they come on here and say they'd had a brilliant time. one piece of advice though, you make a night what it is by who you go with and if you socialise with other people and join in the dancing etc and mingle! alo people who go expecting high thihngs are often disappointed - although somtimes guests have popped into parties in the past, this is not a certain thing and a way to get extra time with celebs etc. I hope that helps? surfy sah xx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
