Yes you are allowed to take photo's but not video. :chair:

Like it says 5 minutes' then the guests do their talk :D

At the LFCC Nathan Fillion, Alan tudyk talk on the second day, while we took photo's of them, they got out their mobils and took photo's of us taking photo's of them. :D

But in a nutshell, yes you can. :band:

Obviously the concern is copyright, when a guest is doing a talk they are infact performing and thats why photograpahry is restricted. By taking photos you are recording (whether still or video) their performance, and this dosent go down well with their production companies..

Okay, I am confused. According to the FAQS, photos are not allowed at all during any guest talks but at various places on the website it states that flash photography IS allowed for the first 5 minutes only. Which is true? Many thanks for any advice regarding this!

I up dated the FAQ after G-Mex as no photo's were allowed at all. BUt at LFCC4 they were again allowed for the first 5 mins.

It is likely that this will be the normal and you will be able to take flash photos for the first 5 mins. So I've changed the FAQ back to the way it was, but do look out for signs when you're there.

Thank you everyone! I will do as advised. Just wanted to know which camera to bring with me :)
