I want some ideas from you (sensible please otherwise I will totally disregard them) for the next chapter. Please bare in mind that I cannot jump plots outragously and a sudden change in scene and setting will have to be justified. I know where I want this "episode" to go but it needs filling out. As I said before your role in the fic is a direct reflection on the volume of posting you do here. It's only fair. So chaps and chapesses! Ideas please! Thanks! Jeni walks through the corridors through the SGC, she spots Daniel Jackson and quietly kicks him in the shins, but the alarm goes off as the 'Gate activates - it's Jonas! Relaying a recorded message... Due to a crisis on Langara - Lt. Jeni is sent over to assist Jonas Quinn... and then the Wraith are discovered there! bwahahahahaha! naturally Jeni and Jonas get cut off from everybody else in a deserted building - unfortunately, due to the Wraith's extraordinary sense of bad timing, we're captured, however, due to Jonas' wonderful skills - we escape and destroy the Wraith hive ship. Leaving the ship in a Dart. I then 'Gate back to Earth, walking through the corridors, Lt. Jeni accidently kicks Daniel Jackson in the shins. Again. General Keynes sat in his Office. He knew it would just be a matter of time; he hadn't realised just how little time he had. A knock at the disrupted his train of thought. "Enter!" A young corporal entered the room, her blonde hair was pulled back from her face into a small pony tail. "Sir, the NID Agent would like a word with you." The NID. Ever since the new President had taken an active interest in the Stargate program following the scandal involving the then Senator and now late ex-Vice President Kelsey, he had insisted on a greater co-operation between the two organisations. In practice this meant an NID agent assigned on a permanent basis in the SGC, they'd even given him his own office and quarters. His security clearance meant that he had almost unlimited access to the whole base. The only areas that he was not privvy to were the "Gate Control Room" and the infirmary. He allowed himself a smirk as he thought about Dr. Kayla's annoyance at the increased number of meetings that they now held there. "Show him in." Moments later NID Agent Paul PyleaDude entered the room. He cast an impressive figure standing in the doorway with the light from the hallway behind him. He wore a simple pair of green combat trousers and an SGC-issued dark T-shirt they set off the grey in his hair. His shirt was standard issue apart from the large letters printed onto ther back "N.I.D.". He wondered which one the SGC team had thought that it would be amusing. "You know why I'm here, General?" "The Wraith Girl?" "Yes, she's wanted at Area 51. The boffins want to go all X-files on her ass!" "X-files?" "Alien Autopsy!" "Good God Man! She's a sentient being! There's no way in hell I'm going to let you take her away to her death!" The NID agent reached into his trouser pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. He threw it onto the General's desk. "It's directly from the President's office. I assume that you recognise the seal. You can call him if you want but this has got a lot of power behind it. General there's a wraith in our galaxy..." "Half Wraith! She's half human damn it!" "I don't like this any more than you do. But if you're open to suggestion - I may have a plan..." "I'm listening." Agent PyleaDude had been in the Agency for twenty years. He had no love for the black ops, no morals operations. He was a straight talking - national security sort of guy and there were some things that he wouldn't cross the line for. "I suggest a jail break. We can *let* her go back to her world and I don't know authorise another mission to go after her." "What would that accomplish?" "It would keep her from being cut-up and allow me to gather intel that might just keep my superiors off your back. It's your decision, General." (That's my ego boost done!)
