  1. Oh Liv Tyler definetly. Empire Records was such a cool film.
  2. Well , seeing as this is a Comic and Film Con and you have Adam West (Batman), how about Burt Ward ( Robin) and Yvonne Craig (Batgirl) from the 1960's series. Actually, come to think about it, how about Chris O'Donnell (Robin) and Alicia Silverstone Batgirl) from the more recent Batman Films. On the Superhero theme as well, how about: Lou Ferrigno (The Hulk) Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman - 1970's) Nicholas Hammond (Amazing Spiderman - 1970's) Helen Slater (Supergirl) Dean Cain ,Teri Hatcher (New Adventures of Superman) Tom Welling, Kristin Kreuk (Smallville)
  3. Bring Back the Fetts - Jeremy Bulloch, Temuera Morrison and Daniel Logan. Lets have all three together.
  4. Well Robert Englund is coming to C5, so that is a good start. From the Nigtmare on Elm Street Films lets also have Heather Langenkamp , John Saxon , Patricia Arquette and Wes Craven. Doug Bradley (Pinhead) again, Kane Hodder (Jason), Gunnar Hansen (leatherface), Nicko Vince (the Chatterer) And the King of Horror films, the one, the only - Christoper Lee.
  5. Only dreaming, but Robert De Niro Tom Hanks Johnny Depp Drew Barrymoore Jennifer Connelly Christian Slater Winona Ryder Julia Roberts Bill Murray Jon Favreau
  6. Perhaps it is more of a case of having a separate arrangement for traders, which could be they have items signed for the first hour of the day , then it is fans only, with a max say of two items. One of the big pluses of events like Collectormania is you get to meet the celebrity , have your photo taken with them, perhaps pick up on a little anecdote or something funny happens. If you just want a signed photo then you could get this from a dealer or on ebay. Lets face it, if Collectormania said they were selling signed Hobbit photos on the Sunday and Monday for £20 each , people wouldn't have been queuing from the night before. If I had a choice of a signature or a photo with the guest, personally I would go for the photo, but each to their own I guess.
  7. Yes Robbie would be a great guest. Bond , Harry Potter and loads more . He seems to keep very busy, so I wonder whether he would have any time to attend an event.
  8. I have a friend in LA who had a work on part in Central Perk, we could probably get him. Seriously though, Courtney Cox Arquette would be a cool guest as she was in the Scream series as well.
  9. I don't know how much the celebrity gets, how much their agent gets and how much Showmasters get. I suppose this all contributes to the cost of the signing. When Rutger Hauer was at C3 , he was signing for a charity. Likewise, Sylvia Anderson normally puts her proceeds to charity. I wonder what the Hobbits did, I can't beleive that Elija and Sean would need the money, where as for lesser known , or characters with smaller parts in films this is a big chance for them to generate some income and also meet the fans. For example if Sean signed about 1500 items over the weekend, he would have taken £30,000. Basically, it seems to be down to supply and demand. Personally, I think it is a bit odd that it costs the same to get your own item signed as it does to get a signature on one of the guests photos, but I am sure there is some sense in it somewhere. I guess if you want the autograph and you have the money you will pay the amount charged.
  10. Saturday nights have never been the same, but hopefully most people have caught up with Wonder Woman either on the Sci-Fi channel or on DVD. Before Buffy Summers, there was Diana Prince, Amazonian Princess and all round World Saver. Showmasters ? Any chance we may see Lynda Carter at C5 , or maybe the London Film and Comic Con ?
  11. We may not get Christopher to come to C5, but for info he will be signing his autobiography, Lord of Misrule for one hour only at the Forbidden Planet's new Megastore in London on Saturday 8 November.
  12. I think Wil would be a realistic guest to get as he does conventions in America. It looks like from his web site he is keen to plug his writing career as well. He was in Stand By Me, one of the best films ever and he was also in Star Trek , so he should appeal to Trek fans as well. Lets hope Wil is added to the C5 guest list soon.
  13. Kiefer has been in so many good films. Stand By Me, The Lost Boys, Young Guns, Young Guns 2 , Flatliners, Twin Peaks (Fire Walk with me), and of course the series 24 more recently. Kiefer would be a great guest.
  14. I saw her last night in Down with Love with Ewan McGregor . She looked so much older, I didn't really recognise her. (Mind you I guess she is older !) Having said that, I am sure a new Star Trek guest is always welcome.
  15. Yes, for sure Wes Craven along with Robert , Heather and John Saxon would be superb. And even better if Patricia Arquette could also make it from Nightmare on Elm Street 3.
  16. With Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland and Lou Diamond Philips we could get a whole Young Guns theme. Young Guns is still one of my favourite films.
  17. It would be a shame to move it to the NEC, because you would lose some of the informality of previous shows. However, if Showmasters keep getting such big guests it would make it far easier for all concerned to be in a separate contained venue. I guess I am 50:50 over switching it, but for now I presume Middleton Hall is already booked for C5 anyway.
  18. Oh, I don't know. He can bring Geri Halliwell if he wants. Two autographs for the price of one would be good.
  19. Yes, but Wil Wheaton and Jerry O'Connell would be really cool. I went to the Viper Room earlier this year. It was such a waste that such a promising career ended so early in River's case.
  20. How about Parker Stephenson, Shaun Cassidy and Pamela Sue Martin for C5?
  21. GoldenGreen

    ACTOR-2-ACTOR

    Carrie-Anne Moss - Chocolat - Juliette Binoche
  22. Kevin Bacon and Sean Young should be on the list as well. Perhaps we should just have an 80's themed Collectormania as a one off event ! How about it Showmasters ?
  23. I saw him in Dogma the other night, he was great as Metatron, so different from Snape and The Sheriff of Nottingham. A really good actor that would certainly grace C5.
  24. Phoebe Cates, yes she would be cool. That reminds me , can I add Sean Penn and Jennifer Jason Leigh as well.
  25. Here are just a few that would be cool to see at C5. Robert Englund (A Great guest at C3) Heather Langenkamp John Saxon Johnny Depp (O.K. this may be tough, but if you can get the Hobbits and I think he lives in France) and from Nightmare on Elm Street 3 Patricia Arquette
