I want to buy some photoshoots but waiting till Caitlin and Nina's are available so I can purchase all together and save postage, every penny counts at the moment as I am still unemployed so not sure if I can afford it. Definately want to see Arthur and Kirstin wants to meet Caitlin.

I don't know who is more excited about this, Kirstin or me? Guess we will have to go both days, such brilliant guests have been announced. Mels, River Song, Amelia Pond and Rory Williams! WOW!!! We are going to try making a pirate coat as we hired the last one and it was a bit long.

I put a post on here and someone (mod?) deleted it, basically saying Dr Who cosplay EMS. Anyhoo you just put yours up and it serves the same purpose. Kirstin will be cosplaying, she will probably be Pirate Pond again as we cannot find material to make a Madame Kovarian suit, we found some material which is £22 per metre and she would need 3 metres at least! Very hard to find anything similar to the screen costume for the eyepatch lady's suit. Pictures of Karen in her new screen outfit was just in a magazine but the shirt is sold out already! :-(

He is to blame for getting me into conventions. Armin was the first guest I ever met and was the reason I went to my first convention. I asked him about being a sex symbol as I still think Quark got most of the action on DS9.

Flirting with River Song and the stubborn refusal to be manipulated of the Doctor just showcases his talents. As the Doctor, Chris Eccleston was the sexiest dr, his Dr Who portrayed as more of an adult, David Tennant was best with Donna as the writer had pushed the Rose love affair too much. This version is so much more fun.

Probably not able to do this as it is a lot of money for one photo and I can't afford it.

I want one photo, will that cost me £150 as I would like my son and daughter to join me. Is that correct?

Verem, a couple of times we were going past Chewie and asked the "handlers" for a photo only for them to swan right past and ignore us. I know I got a quiet voice but it was getting ridiculous. I gave up after the third attempt.

Watching the episode where Rory and Amy get married, River walks past the windows and Rory tells Amy that someone left a present, a blue diary and when they look in there it is blank. Rory notices that Amy is crying and a tear falls on the blue diary. Is it blank because River is not born? How did River turn up at the wedding? Afterwards, the Doctor proposes? or not as the case may be.

He is a lovely guest to meet, very down to earth and friendly. I wish i could go to Glasgow to meet him again.

I took some photos, it was really good, the scale of it was huge and it seemed to take a long time, I meant to go take one last photo on sunday evening before leaving but forgot. I enjoyed watching him paint over the weekend. It was certainly different.

Kirstin may reprise the Pirate Pond cosplay, but I have an idea for another, Madame Kovarian: going to look for suitable material to make the suit. Cosplays I would like to see are; a headless monk or a ganger, that would be so cool The second part of the series begins again on 3rd September so there may be some new characters.

I hope that Dr Who guests will be announced soon, we are still in the idea stage for the next cosplay. So far this year Kirstin has met Alex Kingston whilst cosplaying River Song/Cleopatra and met Karen Gillan whilst cosplaying Pirate Pond. We shall wait and see who is announced and hope they fit our plan. It will be a Dr Who cosplay.

I stole your pic of me handing mini Harley her certificate lol. Loved our Junior cosplayers!!! They were so adorable! I wish I filmed her going on stage, it was quite funny when she just laid into Batman and left him on the floor! Surprising and very well choreographed.

I wonder if she got slightly freaked out by the Dr Who cosplayers, they were very good costumes at this event. She was phenominal. So hope she comes back again soon.

I think that Cosplay has come a long way in the past five years, it is now more of an artistic organised event, with more people making their own costumes and a great variety in themes. You have the sci-fi classics like Trekkies and Stargaters etc as well as Manga/Anime and Vocaloids. Not so much of the Naruto or immature effect any more which turned alot of people off with the glomping and free hugs signs that you get at other events. Groups, books and websites have helped to make it more of an interesting hobby than an annoyance.

Sounds like the lady who served me, i tried so hard to cheer her up saying i know its late but heres my tickets 277 and 278 and i want to buy auto tickets. Halfway through transaction i said two tickets not one and she gave me some story how i only showed her one ticket so could only get one auto. nobody seemed to care as it was end of the day. It just took too long for photos to come back.

David and Catherine are not allowed to sign anything except the current plays programmes, posters and flyers. Not even auto books and pieces of paper!
