What are you cosplaying as? My friend and I considered doing cosplay this year but neither of us could afford to - the main reason why I'm not getting a hair cut too I remembered that I also need to make a list of the trading cards that I own so I don't accidentally buy doubles this year. I also need to find my shopping bags to put in my rucksack as last year I lost a couple of thing I bought because I was using a cheap plastic carrier bag.

Is anyone else getting excited now? I've spent the last few days figuring out what time I'm going to have to leave to catch my train, the route to Olympia and where my Oyster card is. Also how to get hold of many £5 notes (seeing as they always say they don't have enough ) Now all I got to do is tell my friend that we're leaving at 5:20 am, and hope my new t shirt arrives in time (and fits properly) I can't wait!!! What has everyone else got left to sort out beffore they go?

I don't think Olympia is that hard to get to by tube (from reading the directions anyway) but I know what you mean; my mate and I went to another con a couple of years back at Excel, neither of us knew where to go so we ended up following a couple of Doctor Whos to find the place. Glad we did though there were so many changes to make. Tis always helpful to keep an eye out for other costumed people, coz at least worst comes to worst you can all team together to find your way.

should get orange to do an annoying advert about camera flashes that'd do it they may annoy the hell out of me but it makes me check my phone every time even if I know it's on silent.

i'm surprised by that - needing to use flash I mean - last year the lighting was good enough to not bother with flash - in fact when i did try to use flash the first couple of photos it looked very odd indeed.

atm i've got 1 photo shoot and 3 autographs planned. Though I'm currently trying to figure out how much money to bring

It'd be fun to find out - I'm only a part timer atm, though I'm hoping for a few bank shifts to help pad my pay. If i was out of work there was no way I could afford to go - so far I want approx £190 worth of autos, but thats just so far - I can't wait to see who else is announced.

I've gone for the 3 day pass - I haven't gotten any photo op tickets yet though atm i'm wanting 3. and i'm sharing a room in a travellodge with some friends so all I got to do (apart from photos) is get train tickets - something i had forgotten about until a few minutes ago. It's definately going to be worth it though.

That's very true- I'm all set for LFCC, but I go to america end of august/start september so all my pay for one month is going on that, after which the following months I'll be paying my rents back £400 for my flights.The annoying bit is that the sunday is my pay day and the money won't go through until monday, a day too late, otherwise I'd have an extra months pay to play with. Thank god I'm not going camping this year, means I can buy some photo shoots, before I go away

So I think this event is going to bankrupt me- even though we've only just started getting guest announcements, there are already so many autos I want as well as photos. I can't wait! Anyone else feel the same way?

I've recently finished watching all of the episodes of Big Bang Theory that are available and I have to say it is epic. Wouldn't be great to meet anyone off Big Bang Theory. In my case I'd especially want to meet Kaley Cuoco and Jim Parsons, though meeting any of them would be amazing.
