  1. I take pictures of them whilst signing my items. Would feel very uncomfortable taking a picture of someone in front with the guest as in my opinion its encroaching on that private moment - their experience (thats if its a stranger to me) at Collectormania I took pics of my Friend with a guest so that I could send it to them for that nice little memento
  2. Sorry, but no. Huge Alien/Sigourney fan here but "Ripley" is NOT as recognisable/bigger a character than James Bond. The Bond series has spanned 53 years, featured 6 lead actors in the role, and has always very much been a 'global' series with a far broader appeal. You're entitled to your opinion but number one is spot on - bond may have been going for longer but doesn't necessarily mean he's better - this debate is up there with Star Trek v Star Wars Star Wars v Harry Potter Star Wars v Avatar It's the way it goes with fandoms and polls such as this
  3. I'm very sure that this is a day that will be remembered perpetually as one of history in the making. In all 50 states of the U.S. gay marriage is now legal - what a wonderful time this is for so many and one that quite simply shows how to quote President Obama. "Love IS Love." #LoveWins
  4. A true legend, her, Robert Watts and Dave Barclay are my three main reasons for attending - no one is bigger than these three in my opinion.
  5. Number One is spot on - there is no greater movie character (I'm obviously not naming names as I wouldn't want to spoil it for those who are unfamiliar with the poll) but lets face it this person is even bigger than Bond and is well deserving of the title.
  6. Mr. Spielberg :) =TooobviousIknow lol
  7. SPOILER ALERT! You know the ingredient levels? Where you hae to get like 200 of each colour? On level 1000 you need to get 1,000 x Green 1,000 x Blue 1,000 x Orange In 30 moves. Because on this level there's only four colours its kinda easy for chocolate bombs to be made, Always worth to get at move 15 down to 500 colours thus making it 1,500 then you've got a much better chance at the end. Of ccourse anything lower than 500 is a bonus :) And then of course, the last ten moves are by far the most important And thus thats how you complete level 1000 of Candy Crush *Bows Majestically*
  8. Its taken a lot of willpower to get there- level 1001 is kind of nuts, level 1002 is much easier.
  9. Level 806 is really good going, its a mixture of tenacity and in many cases the boards being in your favour - there have been times when the chocolate bombs have formed almost right at the last minute and in some cases I've completed levels with just one move to go :)
  10. I was wondering what level you are all on? Started playing this game in 2013 and at one point (think it was around level 34 or so that I got fed up with it and deleted) a few days later I went back to it and kept at it. Saturday I completed level 1000, :)
  11. Harrison Ford :) #Tooobvious?
  12. As it currently stands there's only four people who are of interest to me, very quiet. * The true legend (and he is very worthy of such an esteemed title) Robert Watts. * Another true legend Dave Barclay. * Legendary Siggy Weaver. * And of course Lea Thompson
  13. Is something going to be done about this???? EDIT: I've removed the link for obvious reasons but SOME ONE has put their frickin diamond pass for Sigourney on ebay? *Breathes deeply*
  14. Tis always a gamble my Friend, is always a gamble. Nigel attended with Chris back in 2011 :)
  15. This takes me back to LFCC 2012, i had worn my Gremlins tshirt under my Fox Mulder suit... I'd had my photoshoot with Gillian dressed as Mulder, then afterwards went orf to meet Zach at his table - afterwards I got in line for Zachs photoshoot - took off my jacket, tie and shirt and bunged em in my bag then took out my Gizmo (insert appropriate pun here) after Zach and I held my Gizmo and was out of the photoshoot I put my shirt, tie and jacket back on and headed towards the Mitch and Nicholas X Files talk and later on the photoshoot with Mitch. Looking back on it it was quite the farce to do but enjoyably good fun as well :)
  16. Considering I only have Dan Aykroyd on my Ghostbusters DVD and theres no chance of completing it now And the fact that I met both RIdley Scott and HR. Giger at the same prem - I'm going to get her on ALien. It's the same thing if you collect 007 as most of them have passed away , it's still nice to meet those that you can meet This is one of the reasons I try not to start projects because in many cases it becomes quite a mission to finish them because of the reason you've just given: In 2011 Harrison Ford signed my Fedora and I was more than happy to leave it at just him - until Mr. Spielberg came along in 2012 along with Kathy Kennedy. I'd never start a Tomb Raider project as my DVD looks good with just Angelina on it. My Young Ones pic will never be completed now for the same reason Ghostbusters won't. Although, like you say, it is nice to meet people when you can and have the opportunity to do so just in many cases to say you have, hence why I don't want to miss this opportunity with Sigourney. :) Quite an interesting view on it... I always kind of thought the more the merrier as far as my items are concerned but I totally get see it from your perspective! When it comes to the lead actor/actress I suppose it is nice to have a single auto as it is highlighted more! It works both ways, "Less is more" "More the merrier" it's down to the individual and indeed the item - I just maintain a strict ethos to this for myself as to what I feel is achievable and what isn't. Some examples: IF I could get John Williams, Frank Marshall and George Lucas on my Fedora I'd consider it completed - failing that I'd be happy with Alfred Molina seeing it's now more or less a Raiders centric piece. David Duchovny would see my X Files box set completed And then in other cases it is all about opportunity - for example yesterday I was deciding on what to have Dave Barclay sign - Fraggle Rock or Labyrinth, considering he's flying over for this I'm considering have him sign both (although Fraggle Rock will never be completed because of Jerry Nelson and Richard Hunt having passed away) at least with Labyrinth there are performers who are still around. Last week I had to decide whether to get Anthony Carrigan to sign my Gotham pic - I'm not normally a picture person, DVDs is where I'm at and I was in two minds as to whether to wait for the DVD to come out in October or start the project now, when both Erin and Anthony were announced. When the DVD actually is released I'll be only getting the main leads on there (here's hoping we shall see them over here at some point) Sometimes the more the merrier sometimes less is more :) #Swingsandroundabouts
  17. Bumped I'm definitely coming as is my Friend who's driving us up from Southend so that's two more for the list :)
