Agreed. This is not a good omen. This is going to be a quiet event anyway - if Dreyfuss cancels, it's only going to get quieter. I hope this thread turns out to be pointless, it would be a real shame to lose the headliner. It would be the first event I have missed since getting the bug!

There was no mention of him attending the event in the advert I saw inside Fridays Daily Mirror (24th October). Is this a bad sign ?

If he does cancel... How about booking those guests (who have a history of cancelling) closer to the event?

I know you guys who run these events are busy but it really should be removed asap.

you can please some of the people some of the time but not all of 'em all of the time. (I think that's the gist of the phrase, can't remember who coined it though) I don't think it's in anyone interest for the guest list to be poor so I guess Showmasters must be doing there best ! (don't know what this 'smile' is for but I like it anyway)

Shame he has dropped out again. If he gets a hat-trick will it be FOC next time? Morena more than makes up for it though, nice one Showmasters keep them Firefly/Serenity peeps coming!

Does this mean 'Cancelled due to work commitments' is code for 'can't be arsed with doin a signing gig'.....I wonder Shame though, I want the full set of scribbles on my Serenity poster!

Thank you Showmasters for a wonderful event. Only visited on the Sunday and dispite the madness of the crowds I have to say it was a triumph. Thanks to all the crew for their efforts and the friendly helpful chap who seemed to be the organiser (sorry I didn't catch you name!). It was a rare opportunity to meet some high profile stars and cult figures, I look forward to MK & GMEX in the meantime keep up the good work Showmasters you are very well appreciated.

Hi, Maybe the reason he phones Kate to meet in the 'usual place' is because she is still on the run. Either that or they are having an affair, ('he'll be wondering where I am') behind Sawyers back.?!?!?!?!? IMO This Flash forward is only tied to the scenario that they leave on the helicopter. The next season will reveal how they undo this ending with Charlie's 'hand message' being the catalyst.
