  1. Had a great but tiring day today. was a little worried about parking but shouldn't have it was fine parked easily at around 9.45. Met Sean Astin who was lovely although looked freezing during photoshoot. I like this venue yes it is cold but thats just the way it goes. At least you walk round knowing you've seen everything as its a nice circuit. Collecting photos was ok even though there was a slight glitch with the carl weathers ones, got a little panicked.lol. All in all a great day, stewards that we spoke to were helpful and pleasant. Starting to recognise some faces from previous cm.mks. Well done showmasters.
  2. sean astin sunday 9 & 10. Thought i'd be higher than that so over the moon.
  3. I'm a bit confused about this aswell, isn't milton keynes free entry or has it changed this year?
  4. Met him around 2:30ish saturday knew it would a quick one. But pleased him looked up said hello, signed i said thank you he looked up and said you're welcome and goodbye. Pleased with that under the circumstances of how busy he was.
  5. Just finished The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks and have started reading Cross Country by James Patterson.
  6. I'm now reading Songs of the Humpback Whale by Jodi Picoult
  7. I do agree that her books are quite upsetting, i mean i said earlier i really enjoyed Nineteen Minutes which was basically about a boy going into a college with a gun and shooting people. Some of that story was very upsetting and disturbing but also quite eye opening to the realities behind these situations. For one thing Picoult always seems to put a lot of research into these books. But yes they aren't the most cheery of books to read.
  8. Its been a while since i read change of heart but from what sticks out in my mind, it was a very thought provoking book. Especially the concept of organ donation and the passing of traits from donor to receiver, with the ending of the book with the dog a brilliant conclusion to the book. As with most of her books some aspects you know are not going to be what they seem like you suspect things before they actually happen. You just know there's going to be plenty of well thought out and planned twists and turns with her novels.
  9. Yes absolutely love Jodi Picoult I have read: The pact Salem falls My sisters keeper change of heart Tenth circle vanishing acts second glance perfect match plain truth mercy Keeping faith Nineteen minutes My favourites are Nineteen minutes, Mercy and Plain truth. I've still got Songs of the humpback whale and Handle with care to read but i'm saving them so i don't run out before she releases any more.
  10. Finished Too Close to Home (Linwood Barclay) quite good, a little slow to start but gets better and more addictive as you read on. I'm looking at reading The dancers at the end of time by Michael Moorcock. I've had the book ages but keep putting off reading it so i'm going to give it a go.
  11. Great guest would love to see more xfiles actors / actresses there. Like some of the recurring characters, toombs doug hutchinson (who is also in lost now), nicholas lea, lone gunmen etc. Really looking fowards to meeting the 'cigarette smoking' man.
  12. I'm currently reading Too close to home by Linwood Barclay. Quite good so far a little bit predicatable but whether or not it'll have a big twist i'll just have to wait and see.
  13. I'm always reading aswell my favourites are: Jodi Picoult - read most but my favourites are Nineteen minutes & The Pact Garth Nix - sabriel series James Patterson - these books are just easy reads but i would recommend When the wind blows and The lake house. Stephenie Meyer - twilight series & The Host Audrey Niffenger - Time travellers wife and Her fearful symmetry Nicholas Evans I'm looking at buying the True Blood series books but not 100% are they any good? I haven't seen any of the series on tv i always like to read the books before i see the films / tv programmes.
