You Know when you are addicted to supernatural when:- you convert your best friend and her kid's to the show you doodle the SPN charter's without even thinking about it. you love trench coat's you HATE trench coat's on the ground's that they are a pain in the a** to draw. your desk is littered with doodles of SPN charter's and drawing's that you don't remember doing. You here a song and instantly know which clip's you fit to it and where. you spend over 3 hour's studying how to draw shirts. You spend months hunting down the perfect mini trench coat for your friend's little boy so he can dress up as Castiel. You think Kripke is a wonderful yet mostly evil b*****d! Everyone that knows you now knows about the show and has seen the first season and second season because you forced them to >:)

no one else from around my way is attending, I'm all the way down south, I really would like to give the ticket to someone else thou, I think it's kinda dumb not being able to transfer it, I don't get it to be honest, still not allot I can do about it really!

Yeah innit, but I can't go on my own, I'm epileptic, it's not 100% under control either. My Mother was all for letting me go but now I've screwed up my back it's a no go! The Doc said it wouldn't be advisable to go either, I'm kinda gutted to be frank, I was really looking foreword to it plus that's £130.00 odd quid down the flippin drain :/

I'm having to pull out of this con sadly as I've injured my back, Doc say's I'm looking at a month, month and a half before it's all better which means no travelling, heavy lifting ect, ect. I'm gutted to say the least I've just cancelled my room booking so their should be a Twin room going spear now, thou I'm not sure how this all work's. I've no idea what to do about ticket's, I'd just give it away if I could but apparently that's a no go so will have to wait and see what happens nearer the time. I am so peeved off about this :/

Well I phoned to sort it out and ended up losing the Twin room, to a normal double annoyingly because they simply didn't have any left, they said they couldn't applie the room rate to the twin I already had booked which is just whack, but I have a room and that's the important thing! EDIT:- went on-line and they had twins so cancelled other res and booked it on-line, but am confused, do they only like have a certain amount put aside for reserving on-line and then a certain amount for phone bookings?

well you CAN book it now and change it later that's what I was told. so snag a room now and then as long as you cancel or change by the end of August every-thing's fine! they don't ask for payment right their and then.

The main bit where they add up the total says it's con rate all 3 nights, but there's a note at the bottom to say the rate of £139/night will apply the Sunday night. So the £229.14 isn't actually what would be paid if we don't manage to get the Sunday ACTUALLY onto con rate. Is that on the confirmation email because I can't see anything that says that on mine. Yeah, it has the room information and then Yeah I looked over my e-mail and got that to! like I said hopefully if or when the code for Sunday comes threw that'll change *fingers crossed*

I'm torn between dressing up ad dressing down for this! I'll either go all out [i own a black ballgrown type dress ;P] or I'll turn up in a suit, either way will have to see on the night!

I tried booking on-line today and the code didn't work so will phone up and try now! update! I ended up getting a twin hilton delux with the room rate for two night's and then full on the Sunday but the nice lady said I can always phone and change that if the code gets sorted out for the 3rd night! total cost £229.14 so not awfully bad! I may or may not have someone with me, if they bail out then I will have a spair bed going so if anyone's interested let me know, all I ask is that you don't take all the hot water and if you want to contribute to the room cost that's fine but I understand completely if you can't. no worry's

I am so tempted to attend to A5 Halloween con as well, but I don't think I can really afford both RoadHouse and A5 and I'm committed to RH now, I really would love to do both thou. Still I'm remaining optimistic too

I'm torn between drinking and NOT drinking. I'm errrr, well I'm not suppose to drink seeing as how the med's I'm on don't go to well with alcohol but as my BF and her kid's are coming and we are going to be staying in the same hotel as the con I might be able to get away with NOT taking them and enjoying a few beer's, I don't know. I'm Epileptic so it's catch 22 for me. I have Petite Mal which means my brain turns off sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes for up to 20 minutes at a time. the med's I'm on don't completely work but I dunno! I'll have to think long and hard on it!

We kinda put our head's together and I've said if she can't make it I will take Jools with me along with Alex who REALLY wants to come. Alex wants to go as Dean bless him :) I'm soooo looking forward to this, I set up a savings account just for it, it's now my RoadHouse fund [no really that's what it's actually called] so I'm hoping I will have enough. I've brought my ticket already but if I end up with small people then my seat will go to them, will flip a coin between talks to see who gets it, that way it cuts out the arguing lol! I know, I know why buy a ticket that gives you a decent seat if your just gunner give it up to the kid's and I say because I'm taller than them and I can stand if needs be I'm Pagan myself so I already know the property's of salt and iron and all that jazz. Kripke mixes up allot of mythology in the show and frankly I'm glad I'm a mythology nut. I can watch the show and go yeah that would work, if not for ect,ect lol! Like the devils traps, that's just the keys of Solomon mixed up a little. it's actually two of the key's combined and I think, I'm not sure on this, but the two mixed up might actually work as a decent devils trap BUT it's only a theory. it also depends on what you believe in as well. The show isn't real, we all know that but depending on your beliefs, some of the subject matter is. Like for salt, it draws negative crap to it, it can purify and expel negative energy, a ring of salt around yourself is suppose to protect you from more than Ghost's too. so in theory it's workable as a weapon against ghost's. But then like I said it depends on what you believe and what you don't. to most people salt is what it is, salt! nothing more nothing less but then to some a cross is just a cross!

Anyone word on that yet as I've yet to see a link on the site, maybe I missed something not sure but just wondering, I sort of want to get this sorted out as soon as I can so I know what to budget for and I don't have to worry about about it thanks!
