  1. A perfect accompaniment to Chris would be Tim Burton!!! If you managed to get him I'd die of overwhelming happiness, the man is a genius
  2. OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! I am seriously in love with Jack Skellington, SM you rock!!! Now the big question, which of my many Jack Skellington items do i get signed?? lol
  3. That's what I thought but as it didn't say specifically I wanted to double check. Thanks Jola
  4. Hi Jola, I've got my registration letter, thanks so much for that. Can I just get a quick bit of clarification from you? The letter asks that if you have bought tickets for other people that we let you know the names of all ticket holders. I was just wondering what is the best way to get this information to you as the letter doesn't say Thanks in advance for your help, Jan
  5. Ah vampire baseball, I take it you'll be getting it signed by Peter? Thats a fab idea, if you get a chance can you post a pic when it's done I'll be coming to LFCC myself so if I see someone with a bat i'll come say hi if thats cool with you lol
  6. If it's something you really don't want damaged then you'd be best to bubblewrap it and then maybe brown paper, something like that anyway. Either that or if you have a large suitcase just pack it in that with your clothes. If you put it in alone make sure you wrap it well. My didgeridoo got chipped and scratched. It was a surprise present from my brother when I visited him so I had made no provisions for it so it had to o in as it was. It may be an idea to call the airline you are flying with though, they may have policies in place or some advice I haven't thought of. Do you mind me asking why you are bringing the bat with you? Sorry if thats a nosey question, it's just intriguing lol
  7. You can take a baseball bat onto a plane hon, you just can't take it into the cabin, it will have to go in the hold. I've had to put my didgeridoo in the hold of a plane once and a couple of months ago I had to fly to a job and I took my site kit in the hold which has Stanley knifes, chisels and screwdrivers in it and they were fine with it going in the hold too.
  8. I fully agree!! f***ing rag this newspaper........thats all im saying! sorry for the swearing too but.........cant think of anything that suits this topic!! My man totally agrees with you. He's a scouser like yourself and he tends to get rather irate anytime the Sun is mentioned and to be honest I don't blame either of you one bit.
  9. I got him to sign a copy of that last time as it's one of my faves. I love the poems, especially 'There's a chef and his name is Dave' I had a lovely chat with Robert about his poetry
  10. I totally agree, I love it. Have you read the sequel 'The Toyminator'? Its not quite as good as Hollow Chocolate bunnies in my opinion but it's definitely worth a read
  11. It doesn't give much away does it? Fingers crossed they are keeping all the good stuff for the rest of the episode.
  12. It is quite amazing although not that uncommon. For example, I was born on my mother's birthday(and therefore her twin - my uncle's) as well I am so happy for Alyson and Alexis. And it is sad about Andy. I have a birthday coincedence in my family. I have two great aunts, one on my dads side and one on my mums side, both are called Jean and both share the same birthday as me. I even have a similar name to them, Jan. I've always thought it was quite cool
  13. 1. Name: Magenta_Jan & DocVader (aka Jan & Gary) 2. Age: 27 & 28 3. Location: Northampton 4. Ticket type: Standard 5. Reason for going: We both think the show is ace and though I've been lucky enough to meet Chris Barrie and Robert Llewellyn I've been hoping to meet the other cast members too. Gary hasn't had a chance to meet any of them so far and given that we live so close we jumped at the chance. We're both really looking forward to going. This is what we look like, obv Gary is on the left & I'm on the right lol Please forgive the rosie glow and the dodgy curly hair on us both. The pic was taken at about 2am after a nights dancing at a rock club
  14. Yayness!!! Just booked two standard tickets for me and my man. We're so looking forward to this, cheers SM, you guys have done great!!!
  15. I had to drive to Telford yesterday and despite the snow and ice it was the best drive. I went on the M6 past Birmingham at 8.30am and I didn't slow down once, the roads were empty. I wish it would snow all the time lol
  16. See my post above yours for the details lol
  17. am i pissing you off-fafaaa lol where n when is it, i'd love to see him live. Its April 7th at the Hammersmith Apollo. Tickets are available on general sale on Friday at 9.00am here: http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/170042...p;did=uklnwebps I'm signed up to LiveNation so i managed to get my tickets on presale which is why I have them already
  18. I've just bought tickets for the first ever UK show of Jeff Dunham (aka the creator of Achmed the Dead Terrorist) I'm so excited
  19. Don't do it to yourself!!! Its not a good movie. Ed did quite respectably in the role but the plot wasn't great and Tara Reid & David Boreanez were just awful and their storyline was just ridiculous. I must admit though, I am very tempted to meet him. I loved him in American History X and I'll admit my first thought when I read his name was the Aerosmith video he did which is one of my all time favourite videos
  20. My one true Vampire love will always be Lestat De Lioncourt. I absolutely worship and adore him but only as he appears in the books. Both Tom Cruise and Stuart Townsend did good jobs of portraying him but they both portrayed different sides of him and neither truly got the essence of Lestat. I think a lot of that is down to poor adaptations from the books though tbh. I must admit though, I absolutely adore Spike from Buffy too. He's just so hot it's unreal lol I've become more biased towards him since I've met James. He's such a special lovely bloke, I'm really sane and level headed when I meet people but he turns me into a big pile of girly mush. My fiance couldn't believe the difference in me last time I met James lol
  21. I'd have thought LFCC too as Anime would co-exist quite naturally with the comic side of things.
  22. In addition to my two current pets I've had: a pedigree King Charles Spaniel called Alcaragie Samuel (Sam for short) a grey & white lop eared rabbit called Misty 3 rats called Lestat (white Rex), Valo (white Himalayan) & Dave (brown Berkshire) My parents also did some puppy walking for the GDBA and we had: Bruce (black lab/retriever cross) Quest (golden lab/retriever cross) Andy (golden lab) Unwin (golden lab) Miller (golden retriever) Huxley (golden retriever) Raffles (black flatcoat retriever) William (golden retriever) Boyd (golden retriever)
  23. Its not that he has no eyebrows, its just that he forgot to use strong enough glue so they're slipping off his face. Maybe they'll show up soon masquerading as a tash lol
  24. I have two cats called Rufus & Gaia. They are brother and sister and are about 18 months old
  25. Tbh I'm not sure what to make of Matt Smith as I've not seen him in anything but I must admit he obviously is very excited about the role and that's a good thing. He does seem rather young but obviously the producers etc see something special in him so I'll trust their judgement til I get the opportunity to see him in action for myself. I must admit though that I think they have possibly done some shrewd casting as when I first saw him, his style reminded me of Edward in the Twilight movies so if they keep that as his style for the show it could potentially draw in the younger female fans.
