I tried to book there, admittedly I didn’t ring with any reference to the convention I just tried to book online via their website and was told it was fully booked, I think I tried to book online on more than a few occasions in case rooms had become available, in the end I found the place we have now. I think this is incredibly unfair to those not staying there; all this does in my opinion is annoy and alienate people who have already spent a lot of money and were intending to spend a lot more. surly a raffle or something to that effect would have been a far better idea and given everyone a equal chance and lead to more excitement not disappointment.

Well I’m starting to feel the same g, its lucky so far we didn’t get gold, I really really want to be excited and I was so beyond hyped when this was first announced (as you know from my constant badgering) But I almost wish we were off to that other one now, mentioning no names of course... I agree with Blackviolet, we do have two amazing guests and they are great but with such a short time to go I don’t think it’s unreasonable in the slightest to start to question what’s going on regarding who else is coming. We have spent a lot of money on this and intend to spend more on photos etc at the event so I think it’s completely acceptable to start asking questions.

Thanks, well I’ve just found out that whoever has it was using it on Saturday, my provider told me there was data usage, accessing internet etc, I had all my email and facebook logged into it so its sucky to think of someone seeing all my personal stuff

I enquired with everyone lol I asked around and asked bar staff etc. Offered reward in the hope it might have swayed someone,, Oh well, just one of those things. It's the first and hopefully last time I’ve been separated from my phone, it’s so bizarre without it, I feel cut off *shudders*

Yeah maybe your right, I suppose it could have been anyone really. I was gutted to lose photos and numbers the most. I’m sorry your camera went I’ve had that happen to me too, had you taken lots of photos already? Maybe it might turn up still, it seems unlikely but you never know.
