Did Tom arrive on time? I know he has form for being late, just wonder if that may have been a contributing factor?

I was sad to see, (or rather not see?) the DP thread was no longer there. As Dent says I’m a supporter of the DP’s but there is a very tangible fear that they are no longer going to be the invincible way of guaranteeing the autograph- you just have to read between the lines in the Tom Baker thread to see how worried people were when extra DP’s were announced after they sold out. As Dent says the fact that Tom had to stay on vindicates these fears imo. i thought the DP was a great idea but Im afraid of it being supplanted by an even more expensive platinum pass or some such costing even more to confer the rights the DP passes were invented to give...

Yes agree, no reason I asked was maybe he was a bit slow in getting with the con vibe. Be interesting to hear how he was later in the day or on Sunday too...

Is there any chance of un-pinning the threads so we don’t have to navigate to the second page to read the most recent posts? I get why the pinned posts are there but the shows over now so I don’t see why those threads take precedence now, thanks

I’ve met George 4 times now and found him to be a very quiet man each time, almost shy to a degree . I wouldn’t say he finds the whole convention signing circuit easy to adapt to. I get the impression he thinks we’re all mad paying for his signature but that’s an attitude akin to a lot of people...

Anyone go to George’s talk today? Would love to have gone but couldn’t attend Sunday...any highlights/ info you care to share from the talk?

Do you mean that as sarcasm or was he just humbled to be appreciated?

I assumed it was his agent or friend as George was chatting to him between signing. As I left, I shook George’s hand and acknowledged the chap with a smile and he smiled back. I didn’t see a card blocking the signature though.

George was great, really playful at the photo shoot - glad I was in early as he wasn’t wearing sunglasses then. i got the same quote on one of my pics but George wasn’t sure if it was “fella” or “fellow” - I reckoned the former so that’s what he wrote!

I bought mine about a week ago and they were up to batch 3 if it helps?

Hi everyone, just looking for some help with this- I’ve got batch 3 DP with George Lazenby on Saturday and was hoping to take one of my signed items into the photo shoot with him that starts at 11.05am - anyone hazard a guess as to whether I’ll likely see George for autographs before the photo shoot? Thanks in advance!

Very disappointed at such a late stage to hear Zara cannot make tomorrow. The three guests I wanted to see, paying £250 in combined train and hotel fees have now cancelled on tomorrow... I know this is no ones fault but just wanted to vent. ah well hopefully the stalls have some interesting items...
