  1. If we're going for voice actors can we please have Peter Cullen and Frank Welker.
  2. One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Had the pleasure of meeting him at Milton Keynes Collectormania. Happy in a way that it's a repeat guest I've met as it'll be money saved. Pleased for those who've missed him in the past though.
  3. That announcement WILL guarantee my attendance!
  4. I really enjoyed the I Spit On Your Grave remake, she'll definitely go on my list if I intend on going to this event.
  5. At a non Showmasters event I made the error of mistaking Ethan Phillips (Neelix - Star Trek Voyager) for John Billingsley (Dr Phlox - Star Trek Enterprise). John had a guest appearance on Scrubs for which I complimented Ethan for. Whilst Ethan humoured me and said "thank you" his blank expression said it all. It wasn't until later on in the day I realised what I'd done. I was so embarrassed I avoided Ethans table for the rest of the day. At a London Showmasters event I forgot to bring with me a dvd cover of "They Live" that had already been signed by Rowdy Roddy Piper. I was gutted when I went up to Meg Foster and realised I left it at home. It's since been signed by Keith David but if Meg ever comes over again you can rest assured I won't forget it again!
  6. Nothing has been released about this as of yet. Can only assume Showmasters are in negotiations with other Superman cast (possibly the villians) for a group photo.
  7. I cannot agree with this suggestion enough. We missed the 30th Anniversary of the animated movie last year so this would definitely make up for it.
  8. It's just a shame that many wrestlers since that show took place have since passed away. Taking into account health etc only Hulk Hogan and Ricky Steamboat could potentially be available from the major matches of the show (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).
  9. Whilst both have been over before for non Showmasters events they're both still very strong in bringing in an a crowd. I definitely could find new things for them to sign.
  10. With LFCC bring the flagship event of the year I thought it would be nice to get a renewed interest in having voice actors over. A couple of voice actors have been over in the past but it would be good to see many more. Other companies have noticed a market for them and have jumped on the bandwagon but with the Showmasters resources I feel you could get the big names that also have cross over appeal. With that in mind here are my suggestions: *Peter Cullen - Transformers / Voltron / Winnie the Pooh / Dungens and Dragons etc *Frank Welker - Transformers / Muppet Babies / Garfield / Futurama / The Real Ghostbusters etc *Eric Idle - Shrek the Third / South Park / Transformers (and Monty Python) *Kelsey Grammer - The Simpsons - Sideshow Bob (and Cheers/Fraiser) *John DiMaggio - Futurama *Gregg Berger - Transformers / Garfield / Spiderman *David Jason - Count Duckula / BFG (and of course Only Fools & Horses / Touch of Frost) *Michael Bell - Gobots / Rugrats / Centurions *Alan Oppenheimer - Mighty Mouse / He-Man / Flash Gordon Thoughts everyone?
  11. That's real disappointing. Now there's no wrestling guests at all!
  12. Sorry to hear about the attack. Everyone should feel safe and I'm sorry to hear of your story. I've seen and spoken to you a couple of times at London shows and you're a good bloke. Hope this doesn't put you off from dressing up at future shows.
  13. Agreed. What a lovely guy. I got VT number 10 so got a chance to see him early on in the day. Spent a few minutes talking about his time with Robin Williams on the set of Flubber. Just a heads up for those seeing him today that Wil is the "no handshake" type of person. Nothing rude about it but stuff were saying "no touching" and people were sometimes ignoring this. Wil was happy to give out the odd fist bump. The "no touching" rule was in force for the photoshoot as well bur Wil was up for doing poses. In my photo were doing a double thumbs up / cheesy grin pose. Really chuffed with it.
  14. I was looking out for him all of today and yesterday with no success. Maybe look to bring him back as a signing guest for another please?
  15. Unfortunately the organisers booth didn't know either yesterday. I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone yesterday with one of the red shirts telling me he had no idea who he was whilst giving me a blank stare.
  16. Not sure of the reasoning, maybe it was to make sure the name on the ticket matched the purchaser. I had an all weekender ticket and by the time I was near the door it was 2:05pm and wasn't checked for ID in the end.
  17. Can anyone tell me if he's signing or meeting fans at all please? He's not in the signing area and various red/blue shirts can't give me an answer.
  18. Just a heads up for everyone to bring ID when coming to the show. Today's queue getting in is going rather slowly and this is due to people not having ID ready. A member of the crew has shouted that a Passport, Driving Licence, National ID card or Credit/Debit card should be acceptable.
  19. Taken from the Destination Star Trek Facebook Page: Due to last minute travel changes Gates McFadden will now no longer be available for her Friday photo shoot - if you have purchased a photo shoot ticket this will be honoured on Saturday or Sunday, if you find it clashes or wish to discuss options please go to the sales desk on arrival at the event and they will assist you.
  20. How close are we talking? It should just about work out with shoot 1, but no guarantees. Apologies I mis-read my train ticket. I thought it was 5:50pm when in fact it was 6:50pm. So as long as the show doesn't overrun to an insane degree I'll be alright.
  21. Quick question for mods: I have a batch 2 photo with Wil Wheaton on Saturday. What's the likelihood that I'll be able to get into the 1st photoshoot? Only reason I ask is the 2nd shoot time cuts it really close to my train home.
  22. Ipswich. Not very far in reality compared to some of the other places that's already been posted.
  23. I was wondering when the cancellation announcement was coming. I feel lucky and privileged that I managed to get him a few years back on London now!
  24. We unfortunately missed a big Transformers celebration 2 years ago at LFCC (it was promised to be big that year which to be honest fizzled out) and this year (animated movie). Time to right a wrong I feel and bring over Peter Cullen & Frank Welker. If you can bring either or both all is forgiven!
