Seeing as I'm still going to be traveling during the dates that the con was supposed to be - it would certainly be nice to get the money prior to those dates Still really sad and bummed about con being canceled ... :-(

I'd be very surprised to hear it was cancelled this side of Christmas, since they'd be accused of ruining it for some of you if they did. And probably not enough notice after, so I'd guess no news is good news. It seems to have two different types of fan though - those who think it's too pricey and those of you who will go no matter the cost. In fact nearly everyone who's said they've booked say they are gold or silver, but you have to sell regular tickets too. OK - I have a theory - yes - gold and silver have been selling, I believe that the regular tix will sell closer to Xmas AND right around when Series 2 starts .... then the tickets will FLY !!!!

Well, my air is booked - hotel is booked (friend took care of that) - and my GOLD pass was just purchased - I will be there ! Hope - as a fellow American - you can make it !!!

I hope it doesn't get canceled - my husband is buying my con ticket this week as my anniversary/Chanukkah present for this year and I JUST booked my tickets to England !!! OKies - now we all have to do some serious praying !!!

Ok - I haven't bought mine YET, but my friend who is meeting up with me already bought her gold ticket last week, and I hope to have had mine purchased for me sometime in the next week or two. With all the s***e that's been going on in my life - I'm really, REALLY looking forward to this event !!! See you all there !!! Little1

Ok, you're my new favouritest Being Human fan. That's ace! I was over for Comic Con while the first couple of shows aired and it seemed to be going really well, I read quite a few reviews all of which seemed positive - hope it still is, the con goes ahead and you have an amazing time. It might be worth looking into travel insurance though to cover if the con IS cancelled, that way you can book your flights etc early and get the best price, without worrying nearer the time that you'll be left with flights you can't change/cancel. PS - if you do make it over I'll buy you a beer just for sheer dedication to the BH cause! Narin :) 2 Things : 1. Screw the trip insurance, I'm coming either way - if the con is canceled - I'll pop a flight over the Cork and visit with my friend regardless or hang out with my Londoner friends ... and 2. Can we make the beer a mixed drink of some sort? I have a slight hops allergy ! But thanks for making me your fave...I'm tickled pink ! You went all the way to San Diego for comic con? I'm jealous - still haven't been to that, but I have been to several others. Oh, I meant can I pick them up at the door if I bought them online? I was worried about the tickets missing me in the mail or not even getting to me in time or something like that. But yea - I'll bring the confirmation e-mail should I not have the tickets by the time I leave for the airport ! Thanks ...

Hi all .... (waving from across the pond) I'm going to be flying in from NJ, USA for this event and I've even conned -- convinced my friend from Cork to fly over so we can both do this event .... With that being said - it's too soon to cancel, as I know she'll be buying her ticket soon, and I have to wait til next week...and then I still have to figure out how to pay for my airline ticket over there - but I'll do it - somehow. My friend got me hooked on this show and when I saw there was a convention for it - I realized that I just HAD to go.... Because man, it would suck if I had booked all my travel arrangements and then you canceled it ... :-( I'd be crushed ! Please don't crush the little American !!! Save the convention, save the American ! ;-) Ok - back to your regularly scheduled forum stuff !

Is it possible for there to be an option where we would be able to get our passes at the door? (at a will call type of thing) - I'm travelling from the US and I'm concerned that should you ship to my house 2 weeks prior to the event, they might miss me (or get lost) - as I haven't set my trip yet - but I plan on extending my trip over to visit with some friends who live on that side of the pond and don't know if my extension will be prior to the con, or after it. Any information about this would be most helpful. Thanks ...

Very good to know - as me and my friend have only just heard about this event and I know it will be a few weeks before we'll be getting our tickets ! (hopefully sooner - but who knows) ... Little1 ---------------
