  1. It will depend on the guests for me, unfortunately I won't be making it to Hallowhedon this year as the guest that have been announced don't justify me spending that much money especially since I don't have much of it. This will be the first Hallowhedon I have missed and it's strange to think that it will be the first time in four years that I won't be celebrating Halloween at Hallowhedon. I'm hoping there will be some good guest next year and if I have the money then I'll definitely be there!
  2. I did enjoy the last screening we had but that was due to the fact it was a Buffy episode. So for me to watch a screening again it would obviously depend on what would be shown, if it was a episode from a show I don't like then I wouldn't go. The problem I find with a screening is that you wouldn't be able to please everyone, whether its a film or a tv show there are going to be some people that aren't interested. I do however enjoy the quiz, I find it a great way to interact with the guest. It's not taken too seriously and creates some of the weekends funniest moments. Plus unlike a screening It can involve all the guests. I do like the idea of having extra things to do, sometimes once you have collected all you autos and had your photos's taken you have a lot spare time and where the hotel is located there isn't much to do.
  3. I too would love a dollhouse guest, I have been to every Hallowhedon but I still need another guest to sway me to buy a ticket to this event. I'm not a fan of Firefly or Angel and have met Nick before so another guest might help me decide. I have met a couple of the dollhouse cast before but would love to meet Olivia Williams properly. Other than that, as other people have mentioned there are a couple of people that cross over into other Whedon shows.
  4. I thought I'd catch my Mum up on some of my favorite Buffy episodes and we were halfway through Hush when I thought I'd check for any more news and I saw this guest announcement. A little coincidental but believable! (Had to add that Friends quote in as its accustomed to my vocabulary)
  5. I would love to meet Olivia again, I traveled all the way to London to see her in In a forest dark and deep and was lucky enough to meet her outside the theatre. There was a few people there so I didn't get chance to talk to her properly, but she was lovely she signed autographs and asked your name so she could personalise it. It it would be great to see her at a convention were we can hear her do talks as she would have so much to talk about plus other dollhouse actors I have met all speak highly of her and have some good stories from the dollhouse set.
  6. Hey, thought I'd put a reminder that the clocks go back on October 30th 2011 at 2:00am. That means we can have an extra hour in bed Sunday morning! Just thought I'd say incase someone didn't know. We don't want anybody to miss a photoshoot or an autograph.
  7. I also saw this on twitter and thought it could be a good reason for anyone of them to attend. It would be a good opportunity to let people know about the project and to get them interested, which could lead to more funding.
  8. I emailed the Radisson about free buses and this what they told me. At Heathrow go to the central bus station and take a 140 , 105 , 111 , 285 bus to Bath Road which is free and the stop is New Road where our hotel is next door. Hope this helps.
  9. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt (i.e. you hadn't attended HW2) but now I have found out that you got him to sign your Dollhouse DVD's... Only if I had thought of that and said I wasn't there, unfortunaly for my pride I was there and did mentioned the DVDs so I just kept digging a hole. I would have gotten away with it if it wasnt for pesky 1of2!
  10. Allan Tudyk was at Hallowhedon 2 Oh dear, I even got him to sign my dollhouse dvds. Thank you for pointing out my stupidity although I did mean a regular cast member I just forgot mention it "by accident" (I think I got away with that one )
  11. Same here I have only watched a couple of episodes but I'm very happy to meet him. Since I don't watch Angel either I'm hoping for another guest and I hope it's a dollhouse one, we haven't had one at a Hallowhedon before plus then we would have a guest from each show.
  12. I am a bit disappointed about the lack of updates but then again I do get that they can't really tell us anything until its confirmed. I know we only have three guest at the moment but I don't think its because of the lack of trying, ME would want to get the best line up so people will buy tickets other wise it wouldn't benefit them. I think someone might have mentioned it before but even leaving it late could be a good sign, some guest might not know their schedule and might not commit to booking early but the closer it comes to the event they might know whether they could defiantly attend or not. When it gets closer to the event I think most people me included assume we won't get any other regular cast members, but I'm hoping ME might surprise us. I hope I succeeded in trying to restore a little positivity around this place.
  13. Glad to see the themes announced, got my Halloween costume sorted (very hard to find a mask that fits over glasses!) and the Friday night should be easy to find since my mum used to go line dancing and I did dress as a cowgirl a few years ago. The Sunday is always a wind down party, I don't think we got a theme last year although I think a couple of forum members initiated a Pajama party.
  14. I bet Fran would love to come, I have met him before and he was amazing with fans. He was always interacting with everyone and loved to talk to you whilst giving you his autograph. I absolutely loved Topher and Fran was the reason I went to a certain convention and he didn't disappoint!
  15. I saw the play too on saturday. Reed Diamond (Mr Dominic) was there besides me but I don't think Dichen Lachman was there, was she? I thought she saw the play 2 days before ?? But maybe I'm wrong. I saw Dichen before and after the play, hence I am a bit surprised. I saw the play on the thursday night, we stayed over and only got home late friday night so I only could post on saturday. So yeah Dichen would have been there two days before. When we were waiting for Olivia outside, once she had signed for people she headed over to her car and Dichen ran over to surprise her. I know there was a Dollhouse event taking place that weekend so some of the cast must have gone to see Olivia in the play while they were here. Must have been a shock for any Dollhouse fans going to see Olivia and seeing other cast members walking around!
  16. My sister wanted to go and see Matt, we are both big Lost fans but I wasn't that bothered about going. She tried to convince me for ages and then she said mentioned Olivia and I was sold. It was a good show. It was nice to see Matt, although I wasn't a huge fan of Jack it was great to see him on stage in an entirely different role. I thought about taking my dollhouse dvds, as they have been sign by a few of the cast but I didn't think I would ever get to meet her. Luckily I bought a program, at first I said I didn't want one and then I changed my mind, we didn't even have pens we had to ask people that were there if we could borrow theirs. Thank god they were all friendly and said we could borrow them. Where did you see the Q+A that seems interesting?
  17. I have just got back from London where I went to see Olivia Williams in In a forest, dark and deep with Matthew Fox. I was lucky enough to meet them both after the show, Olivia was lovely and great with the fans. I have been asking for Olivia for every Hallowhedon and even though I got to meet her I am requesting again. Also Dichen Lachman was sat a couple of rows in front of me. Is any one else going to see or has seen In a forest?
  18. I would love a Dexter con, It's one of the best shows on tv..I would be happy to meet any of the cast.
  19. I remember buying part one of season six on VHS. It cost me £30 from asda, I was excited to buy it with my own money I was only about 10 or 11. Being young at the time I didn't watch It much on the tv so it was a few years later until I bought the second part on ebay and found out how season 6 ended. Years later I went on to buy the full dvd box set and finally found out how it ended and started as I had never seen every episode before. Unfortunately the box set I bought was messed up and had episodes missing. So last year I spent even more money to buy every season again. I still have my vhs boxset on my book shelve as a memento.
  20. I just needed a great guest like Amber to give me that extra push into buying my ticket, which I have now bought! Hotel booked, roll on October!
  21. I've got a couple of Whedon related christmas films to get us in the mood. Holiday Wishes - Staring Amber Benson 4pm today on Christmas 24+ Miracle In Manhattan - Staring Jewel State 9pm Saturday on Christmas 24 A Golden Christmas - Staring Nick Brendon 3.50pm Today on Sky Movie Premier Christmas 24 and 24+ are films channels on sky but you can watch them without subscribing to films, I did last year. Also the same films are repeated a few times between now and Christmas so they will be on again. Holiday Wishes is a really good film, I watched it last year but I haven't seen A Golden Christmas or Miracle In Manhattan which is a new film for 2010.
  22. This is exactly what I said, but i am intrested to see what It will turn out like. Although I'm still against it!
