  1. Did some business with Shane Meadow over Christmas & new year. Very friendly bloke, signed some DVDs for me and gave me a Le Donk & Scor-zay-zee poster which he also signed.
  2. Joe Pantaliano at CM5. He spelt my name wrong and started saying "I f***** it up, I f***** it up!"
  3. Was nice and quiet/chilled out this morning, got everyone I wanted in about an hour. Highlights for me were Edward Fox & Julie Wallace.
  4. They're not "A" list but I have Kirsh, Guy Hamilton (4 Bond movies), John Glen (5 Bond movies) and the great Lewis Gilbert (3 Bond movies). All in person.
  5. Former England manager Sir Bobby Robson has lost his long battle with cancer. RIP Sir Bobby
  6. I think you have been very unfairly treated, perhaps more than anyone in history. Have you considered taking this to the European Court of Human Rights? Like you I experienced problems with crew over the weekend, I managed to nick a few VTs out of peoples hands while they were being given out, but each time I was told I had to give them back. Then when I did manage to sneak into the queue and get to the front some crew member told me I had to pay for an autograph when I asked for one for free. I wouldn't mind normally but I made it clear that I didn't want to pay because I didn't want to spend much money at the event. Honestly, it's political correctness gone mad/this country/life? don't talk to me about life etc etc Good post Count
  7. I think he was taken back a bit by the amount of us that wanted to meet him, he was polite and posed for a photo. He perked up a bit when he saw my camera though, he had a play with it and asked how much one would set him back.
  8. If you go by the letter of the law I do believe there are. But as it would not be possible to sue everyone that does it, we let it slide. But we do make the Sun newspaper pay when they use them LOL
  9. Our photographers are professionals and that is why they take a second shot if necessary. Sometimes the first shot will be deleted before being sent to the printers. Sometimes they will remove them from the pack when they come back. You have to understand they are professionals. You paid for a ONE professional shot. They do not want the duff one (as you put it) being put out for the public. They have pride in what they do. If the first shot turns out to not be duff it is put out. And you get two. As for the digital negatives issue. Any professional photographer retains the copyright on any photo he/she takes. Try asking a Wedding photographer how much it would be IF you got the copyright to the photos of YOUR wedding. It'll be an extra £3000-£4000 for you to have the copyright (i.e. digital copies to reproduce). Trust me I checked! So this is very unlikely to be done. As for second copies. Maybe one day. Does that mean folks who take their photo shoot shots into shops to have an additional copy made (print from print) from it are in breach of copyright?
  10. It must be an even more limited edition now as seemingly most folks forgot to collect theirs!
  11. Presumably the photographers have all the photo shoots backed up their computers or on CDs. Perhaps the photographers themslves could post the photo shoot thumbnails on their website and you could arrange to buy a digital copy or additional print from them directly.
  12. Blokes obviously can't catch swine flu from ladies!
  13. He was happier when I met him back in Milton Keynes years ago. He was going through the motions yesterday but still got a handshake, a few words and a photo. I've met far worse.
  14. A topic about him was removed earlier, from what I read of it he was on a mission to avoid catching swine flu.
  15. She'd go nicely with Ursula...
  16. I'm thinking its a Bond girl. Maybe Tanya Roberts, Rosamund Pike or Caterina Murino. Perhaps even Dame Judi.
  17. Another Cannonballer passes on. RIP Farrah
