Hi, sorry to be a bother but I was wondering if my order actually went through because the ticket validation thing wasn't added when I paid? Will I recieve an email with a link to add it like with Sherlocked? It's just that my computer froze whilst purchasing and although I had clicked to add the validation it didn't appear to have been added when I recieved the email confirming my purchase. I just really don't want to have to go through the whole process again and find that the photoshoot I want sold out or something.

Hi there, I'm Kazuhiro (feel free to call me Kaz or Hiro though, most people do) This'll be my first Chevron and interestingly enough, the first ME con in which I've chosen to go gold (partly due to the fact that the venue is near by so I didn't have to worry about money for a hotel room and partly due to the drinks reception in which I hope I'll have a chance to get over my social anxiety and make a few con buddies prior to the parties as this'll also be the first con in which I'm truly going alone) Despite my anxiety issues, I am of a friendly disposition so if you do see me around please don't be afraid to say hello (just look out for a short dude who looks about fourteen -I'm actually twenty one but no one ever believes that until I whip out my ID- I'll be wearing a "history geek" kind of outfit on the friday -tweed blazer/hieroglyph tie combo- as I'm chaperoning a museum tour pre con and won't have time to change) That's it, I think? show-master don't usually allow up or down grades of tickets. If you want gold you will need to buy a gold. Yeah, I know. Was worth asking though. Likely to stick to silver if that's the case otherwise it's a good £140ish down the drain what with tickets being non transferable (not that I know anyone who'd want to go even if they were) Thanks for the reply anyhow :)

Is there any possibility of upgrading from Silver to Gold due to the shop error? (I originally wanted to go Gold but settled for Silver as at the time of booking the Gold's were marked as out of stock)

I've been following you guys on FB for a while now but only just got around to following y'all on Twitter, hooray for this thread!

They'll usually release a discount code (or a link for online bookings) to enable you to book "convention rate" rooms. There's no telling when it'll be up though :/ ...if you'd rather not wait for said code and book a room at it's usual rate, I'd suggest calling the venue rather than booking online (I've tried booking online myself and it keeps telling me that there arn't any availabilities for the weekend of this con)

In the words of tumblr: asdfghjkl; I cannot even I had plans to book tickets for several different events just after christmas but I guess everything else is on hold for me until there's more news on this one

Oh, this is brilliant news! I've even more LOTR feels after the Q&A session in London today so hearing that details of the future con sometime soon is just the icing on the cake!

I was just wondering what sort of time (approx.) the second batch of Matt photos would be likely to come out as even though I do have an early shoot number, I may not be able to afford to get there for the first shoot and I do have to be back before 6:30pm and I know photos may take hours to print
