  1. Excellent to see that a lot of guests are appearing on Friday. Good stuff.
  2. I think that reducing Manchester to one show a year will be a good decision if you manage to attract more top name guests to attend. Being a regular attendee at all of the shows throughout the Country, I have enjoyed Manchester each time. That said, so far the guests at Manchester for me have not been as interesting as at the other shows. If reducing to one show a year means that there will be more top name guests, then fair enough. If the guests are there, then more people will be attracted in . If not, then they won't. I think we will only know if it's a good decision come next summer, when we can see the calibre of guest. Here's hoping that the first 3 announcements are like the first 3 for C14, which has already got me counting my pennies!
  3. I asked if he would add 'Data' and he said no, because he shouldn't have to specify who he is.
  4. I love Voyager - it's my favourite Star Trek series. I must admit though, that it did start to amuse me when Chakotay kept going on and on and on about "hakunji moya" (I have absolutely no idea how you spell it) and whenever something exciting was happening on the bridge, whatever it was, he'd always be pressing buttons on that small box-thing that used to be just down to his left. I'll definitely be getting his signature though. Great guest.
  5. That's a lovely photo Lizzy. I must admit that I'm so delighted with my JM photoshoot photo, that it now ranks as my most prized possession. Can't help keep gazing at it!
  6. I really don't know what James Marsters' secret is, but I always come away from meeting him feeling like a giddy 14 year old! And as for the photoshoot, I've never seen anyone give so much energy to it. He really does make you feel so special.
  7. Michael Weatherley for NCIS and Dark Angel would be fantastic
  8. Fantastic news! Well done for arranging all this so late in the day - a real bonus.
  9. Could we be any more excited?! You're just teasing us now! **Crosses fingers (and anything else that will cross) for more guest announcements**
  10. Can't believe I've won! (I never win anything!) I don't know what's better though; the thought of the gold pass or the thought of getting to meet Michael! Roll on C13! Can't wait!
  11. I thought she was an excellent guest - very happy to chat. I asked her about Carnivale and how did she find handling the snakes. She said she grew quite attached to them, but the big python was very heavy and she ended up with a slipped disc from it spending several hours of filming, writhing around her! Fantastic guest.
  12. I saw 9 guests on Friday & Saturday and they were all very friendly and relaxed. I have to say though, that the best guest for me was Andrew Tiernan. What a lovely guy. His queue was very quiet on Friday and he was quite happy to chat about behind-the-scenes on 300. It isn't always easy to think of interesting things to say to a guest, but he made it very easy to chat. An absolute star.
  13. What a lovely guy. I saw him on Friday and his queue was very quiet. All I can say though, is that anyone who didn't get his autograph have missed out. He was, for me, the nicest guest and was quite happy to chat about 300 and provide little snippets of what went on whilst filming. A very friendly down-to-earth guy and an absolute star.
  14. The photo I chose was a Night of the Living Dead film poster-type photo. They also had the Land of the Dead equivalent. Then there was one or two of George himself and the rest were scenes from Night and Land. I told George that I watched Night when I was a kid and far too young and that it scared the living daylights out of me. He added a 'Stay Scared' quote when he signed my photo. Very nice guy. A privilege to meet him.
  15. James added "Time to save the world", which I thought was pretty cool.
