I made them send me the email otherwise I'd only have gotten the booking number. The event is so far off that I'd end up forgetting details if I didn't have the confirmation. Also I couldn't get specific booking details on the Radisson webpage, probably due to the booking code.

I booked my single room yesterday. They took my card details but wont be taking payment before I arrive, and I can cancel as late as 4pm on the friday (day of arrival). I even made them confirm that breakfast is included in my email confirmation. Thanks ME for fixing single room rates!!

The convenience of it being where the con is held is worth loads, and great company at breakfast is awesome too !! but not much else I'm really looking forwards to seeing you again !! Roll on Friday

I just got another promotion mail from the Thistle. Normally they aren't relevant but this one was a bit cheaper than the con rate. A bit typical seeing as I booked the Sheraton and cancelled the Thistle only last week but I'm happy to try the Sheraton this time. Thistle room for £74 including breakfast

I agree. I'll decide once we've seen this year's final line up. I do find the late (or possibly nonexistent) guest announcements extremely frustrating, and it does seem to be the routine we are to expect. If I lived in the UK I'd book much later than I have the past two years.

I'm pretty certain that's not going to happen due to events I'm not allowed to mention here.

Hi Steve I believe most ppl who stay at the Sheraton eat breakfast at McDonalds as it is between the Sheraton and Thistle so fairly convenient. The gym is supposed to be quite good although I've not used it - just heard good reports! Jo, Bebe & Craig from last May are staying at the Sheraton and Debbie and I are in the Thistle as we wanted to be closer - see you there soon Hi Corinne! I was so hoping to avoid McDonalds if possible but I suppose it'll do. Yeah I was staying at the Thistle too until today. I don't mind staying there at all but I'm trying to budget for future cons so I'm going to try the Sheraton. I truly doubt the gym will happen I can't wait for next next (can I say that?) weekend. It'll great to see you all again
