  1. True! I am glad sometimes that I crew cos I would want to go to everything! Lol
  2. That's right, certain items that silvers and golds all receive are Not on the passes, as it is assumed you are entitled to it
  3. Craig Charles was not meant to be attending Sunday, I saw the post saying he had added on a few hours Sunday morning
  4. But wasn't that just referring to the trek guests and the fact that dstl is the first of its kind in Europe and wasn't a regular occurrence, so of course trek fans may have to consider missing ems in order to attend this new show. Doesn't mean that other attendees wouldn't go. The last sm show was July, that's a good gap, does however show how many trek fans there usually are
  5. I believe that all the traders will be specifically selling Star Trek merchandise that leaves the option of a huge range of items From film cells, figures, tsgirts, mugs, posters, maybe trek weapons, costumes, I have Star Trek monopoly and tht sort of thing you often see. Plenty of browsing round stalls to be done
  6. Not at present, just the physical photograph, although I believe they mentioned that was being looked into for the future
  7. It is an amazing automatic print system It was fascinating to watch
  8. It was amazing to see the system In action Really pleased with my dean Cain pic (except that I'm in it haha)
  9. I'm with queen sindel on that Ps was nice to meet so many people on Saturday at ems, so weird not wearing a crew shirt at a show, can't wait to don the uniform again at dstl Ps anyone else get to witness Jonathan and Ethan having one of their crazy conversations ? Awesome!
  10. It is ordering online which required you to send the image digitally but then you could scan your image yourself in order to send off There are plenty if companies online that will then print it quickly
  11. Yup My machine will scan a photograph and then you can edit it or simply reprint onto edible paper
  12. Your local cake shop should still be able to do that for you using the printed image
  13. If it was sold to you at LFCC and wrapped up to leave, then you would probably have to have it wrapped up to arrive. Definitely go to the organisers booth on the day and ask advice, couldn't hurt to ask Some guests have security and I would hate for you to produce it quickly out of your pocket while stood next to Robert and be tackled haha
  14. I am not sure about the real blades aspect. I have seen many Freddy gloves coming to the show. Perhaps someone else will know about that Robert has often had a glove in the photoshoot. If he didn't and you had yours (if it had been cleared due to the blades) then I would suggest asking the photoshoot crew before you go into the shoot rather than waiting until you are next to Robert. they can then advise you. Any overlaps with photoshoots, go to the shortest photoshoot first and show your tickets for both to the crew there, and they will be able to help.
  15. Hi Michael. I must admit, I wouldn't advise coming all that way hoping for a last minute guest announcement if you haven't got other guests you want to see Showmasters are already at the venue setting up the event, so I would treat the current line up as the final one. last minute announcements or surprises cannot be guaranteed I am afraid only you can make the decision if this particular show is one you wish to travel to, sorry
  16. yes, send your email into info@collectormania.com with all the information and they can update it
  17. I am sorry Dave, Queen Sindel was simply answering your question. All we can do now that the office is shut is advise you to speak to them at the show. We don't know what was said to you in the emails etc as we don't work in the office, we are volunteers, here to answer general enquiries, rather than specific shop queries that are undergoing, so it is a little unfair to sound so exasperated. I appreciate that it is frustrating, but they are very helpful at the organisers booth and sales desk. I hope they are able to help you
  18. We haven't got any numbers I am afraid. The office are probably all at the event now setting up for the weekend Many apologies
  19. Hi there, a number of posts were removed as they were the same questions over and over in different threads. I don't know what your question was, but if it is a complaint, then it is actually better to email the office as they are the more appropriate people to speak to rather than on here as all we can do in that instance is ask you to email the office anyway. The email address is in the signature. There is a quite comprehensive frequently asked questions thread in this section too which should answer your questions.
  20. oh, beg your pardon, I only saw you had ordered a photoshoot If you have ordered a pre-paid auto, they should be able to re-issue that for you, and therefore you shouldn't have a problem getting your auto. just go straight to the sales desk on arrival (whether you choose to go earlier, but if you have pre-paid you should be okay to arrive as originally planned), and show them everything you have. (email confirmation, ID, card used to order etc). My apologies
  21. To be honest, I am not sure, and they will probably already be at the venue now, so there won't be anyone in the office to answer emails now. Bring those items along, and ask at the Sales desk. Many apologies, I personally can't advise you any further
  22. Does this mean that I need act as if I was buying the photoshoot on the day & get there before they all run out,? If the photoshoot tickets should sell out before I can get there, will I be given something like a hand-numbered ticket? Re the autos, do I need to get there as early as possible to get a low VQ, in the normal way for a big guest? The reason I ask, is that my plan was to arrive around 1pm & attend the second photo session for Matt - will I still be able to do this & not have to worry about not getting a photoshoot ticket or a high VQ. Cheers Geoff I would recommend going to the sales desk and organising your photoshoot as soon as you can, I understand there may be VQ tickets you may want to get first to get a low number, yes. The VQ tickets go very quickly for the busy guests, so if you want Matts, that should be your first port of call to get a low number, then you can go and sort out your photoshoot ticket. I cannot comment on whether the ticket would be hand written etc, the pitboss on the Sales desk will be able to help/advise more If you are unable to arrive until 1pm, I cannot guess whether you would get a VQ ticket that would guarantee you an autograph, however, the crew can advise you on the day. They do strive to get through everybody, and even try to get to open queue by the end of the day, but that can never be guaranteed.
