*grins* I suppose so... i only have experience with showing up ridiculously early (as in 7am) and setting up camp just outside the doors to get in quickly when they open hubby is only coming to look at the stalls and laugh at my fangirlishness, so there's no need for him to be inside so early, lol. now, to get that costume ready... It especially makes sense if he's not going to get there until say 11:30am as he'll be able to walk straight in and buy tickets pretty much straight away. You have a point. I was going to pre-book them, as hubby felt safer having it in advance, but I'm sure I can convince him otherwise if I mention the extra cost. Thank you.

Thank you, that really helps! The kids are only 3 and 6, so it seems a bit silly to pay full price for them, so I'll just have to convince hubby to buy theirs on the day (I'm going for early bird, they're coming a little later).

Does anyone happen to know of somewhere near Gmex we could park cheaply for the day? neither of us have ever been to manchester in the car, and we have no idea. Also, We'll be taking the kids. On the main page it says childeren's tickets are £3, but I haven't been able to find them in the shop. Do we have to pay adult price if we're pre-booking, or am I missing something?
