  1. Looking forward to meeting him, but only if I can get the Mrs. to behave herself and not try and ravish him on the spot!
  2. In addition to some of those already mentioned: John Woo; Ang Lee; Peter Weir; Coen bro's; Wachowski bro's; Ridley Scott; Wes Anderson; Neil LaBute;
  3. If it would help I would be willing to sell my Grandmothers soul! So, erm . . . that would be a yes.
  4. I would love to see some more of the Ladies over here, Gina Torres would have a lot of appeal for fans of "Angel" and "Alias" as well as "Serenifly" fans. Jewel Staite would be a personal fave, and outside of the main cast I would really like to meet Mark Sheppard, he's been in a lot of other good stuff too.
  5. Oh Captain my Captain, all I can say is . . .
  6. Great news, he was an excellent guest at LFACC last year, it will be great to see him again, the "Serenity" comics weren't out in time for last year so I know what I will be getting him to sign this tima around!
  7. It was great to see him at C9, I may well be tempted to make the effort to get to this event now, too!
  8. I thoroughly enjoyed the "Serenity" talk and screening, the change from one auditorium to another was not too much hassle, but it would of been better without. As for an the actual talk, 30 minutes did sem a tad truncated, though an hour might be a bit much. Maybe 45 minutes would be a better compromise. I can see the apeal of a live commentary but I don't think it would really work (though I would gladly buy yet another copy of "Serenity" on DVD for some cast commentaries). The idea of the screening then a talk could work well, especially as it would alow the Guests a chance to have a break and be fresh for the fans. It would also have the disadvantage of meaning that the fans who are travelling on the day, who may of otherwise opted out of staying for the screenings, will have to wait until late before they can venture home.
  9. If you don't have a snapfish account you only get to see the albums cover picture, luckily I have an account (amd I remembered my password too! ) so I got to see all three pictures. Wish I had saved enough money to see Jenny, she still looks gorgeous!!!
  10. Alan Tudyk said he was having yrouble with his back, and that was toward the end of Saturday, two more days to go! Leaning over the table to pose with the fans must get a little strenuous after a while. It must get a little wearing having to be smiley the whole day, even more so for 4 days. I am not surprised that some of the actors may get a little less "friendly" toward the end. I think it helps if you have something a little different to bring to the table (literally), for Anthony Head I managed to get hold of his "Music For Elevators" CD for him to sign, so he had something to comment on that was at least a little different from what he had seen all day.
  11. I had lots of fun but no funds, so only got to meet three guests, link to photobox here.
  12. Sounds god to me, I would definetely make the effort to get to LFACC to see any of them!
  13. So, do you think we will get a refund on the £2:00 delivery charge?
  14. According to the info now on this page it will be the "Serenity" guests at Collectormania 9, so it seems that both Ron and Alan will be at the talk. Possibly.
  15. So it appears that the talks are now advertised as 30 minutes instead of "roughly 40", at least as shown here, but the timing is off still, at least for the "Serenity" one I will be attending. As the film is 2 hours+ and the talk is 30 minutes, even with the smoothest of runnings I would advise people not to look at getting public transport booked until 7:10 rather than the estimated 6:45 finish. Just a thought. You might want to check other running times to if you aren't staying over or have your own transport.
  16. Yup, he probably will. I booked up this afternoon for me and the Mrs, should be very Shiny! Any confirmation yet as to whether it will be Ron AND Alan, or just one of them at the talk?
  17. I got mine for the Firefly/Serenity talk and screening, should be a Shiny evening!
  18. Gotta get me some "Serenifly", thanks SM for arranging this!
  19. Gonna have to search through my vinyl now, thanks SM!
  20. Great guest! So will Showmasters be keeping Gerry as far away from Jonathan Frakes as possible?
  21. Wow, big fan of Dempsey and Makepiece back in the day, thanks SM!
  22. Just to up-date, the one-volume collection is now available, try Amazon or whichever your prefferred market place is. Hope that helps.
  23. Pleased to see the Agutter getting the respect she deserves! Loved her in "Spooks" too!
