  1. How have I not seen this thread already? As much as I would love another Lost weekend convention I don't think it will happen. I don't get why there hasn't been a single guest at a signing event for so long though. As other's have said, there's sooo many guests to choose from.
  2. There's still time to get the Lost guests in.... I think!
  3. I don't like the theory of the ending being only Jack's way of moving on. I like to take it as/want it to be the entire groups moving on together. If it was just Jack's personal moment then it makes moments like Ben and Hurley's/Ben and Locke's conversation outside the church and Christian telling Jack that "this is the place they created together so they could find each other" a bit pointless. This is one of many reasons I love this ending though! It let's everyone take what they want from it!
  4. I've been watching it but I'm finding it extremely average. I don't really care for any of the characters, most are irritating and a lot of the dialogue is very clunky and some of the CGI... I only started watching it for Elizabeth Mitchell and it's the only reason I still am. I'll stay with it to the end of this Season and unless it picks up by then I'll probably drop. Although it's very shallow of me, it does help that Laura Vandervoort is HOT!
  5. The ending was great, simply great. Getting answers has never really been my biggest hope for the show , but seeing the final place/resolution to the characters I love was. I have to agree with JacknDaniel in that this is the closest a program will ever get to perfection. Sure there are some questions I would have rather they'd answered (Walt being the main one for me) but I made with peace with the fact they weren't coming around the beginning of Season 5. There weren't as many deaths as I thought there would be, I thought there would be at least 2 or 3, with one of them being Benjamin. Glad I was wrong though! "You're not John Locke. You disrespect his memory by wearing his face."
  6. I'm still going to download, I want to watch it without adverts/having to fast forward them. I've had this planned too long to change it now. Thought some people might be happy about this though! http://darkufo.blogspot.com/2010/05/sky-on...st-details.html
  7. Great episode, a lot of it was just getting people in place for the finale but still great. I LOVED the scene with Jacob, Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Hurley and the camp fire. Jack is now officially the new Jacob! That was something I was expecting to appear in the finale! I was glad we got answers as to why Widmore was back and how he knew so much about the war and everything, it was one of the things I wasn't expecting the answer to. 4 and a bit days to go until the last ever episode. It still doesn't feel like it at all...
  8. Two and a half hours of awesomeness! (Although without adverts it's closer to one hour and 35 minutes...)
  9. The Smoke Monster is MIB. Jacob threw MIB into the light, causing MIB's soul (or spirit, essence etc. whatever you want to call it) to leave his body and become the smoke monster. "Something worse than death" as Mother put it. So MIB left his body, which is what is left in the caves and lives on in the Smoke Monster. Everything with Richard, Jacob and MIB in 'Ab Aeterno' and the beginning of 'The Incident' happens roughly 1800 years after the events of this episode. When we see MIB in these episodes it is essentially MIB as Smoke Monster taking on the form of himself. Does that help LOL?
  10. I was going to say the same thing. I guess it's maybe because that guy (Robert Beltran) cancelled?
  11. Anyone know where DavidB has gone? On holiday? We need you! YOU HAVE TO COME BACK! At first I was a little underwhelmed with this episode, but it definitely needs time to sink in and absorb it all and then re-watch. Some great answers (although many of course lead to more questions, as Jacob and MIB's Mother said herself). We know who Adam and Eve are. Either Jack is just terrible and post-mortem's or there's a plot hole in the fact that Jack said the bodies had only been there a few decades. We know how Smokey came to be and I'm hoping 'the light' will play a part in the finale! I was hoping for more on the lighthouse, the statue, the candidates and the rules and although I never thought the episode would go that far down the timeline, Jacob's relationship with Ilana. Still a great episode that needs to be watched many, many times!
  12. EPISODE 15 Across The Sea Notes: No pre-airing spoilers. Once the episode has aired in the US then all discussion about the episode is fine. Also no discussion of any 'next time on..' parts please, as many people don't watch them.
  13. NOTE: Just posting this in DavidB's absence. Feel free to delete it or whatever when you return. An amazing episode, my second favourite this season after Ab Aeterno. Reflection of the week: Jack and Claire looking into the music box. On to the episode... It looks like karma bit Anthony Cooper on the ass in the flash sideways. And poor Claire must be getting pissed off and being left behind once again. Reflection of the week: Jack and Claire looking into the music box. Now, the deaths and WOW, Sayid, Frank (?), Sun AND Jin all meet there grisly ends. Sun and Jin's death had to be one of the best in the shows history and as great as Sayid's was it did get a little overshadowed by Sun and Jin's. Also if Frank is dead then his has to be one of the worst deaths for a main character LOL. I did worry that Kate was going to die for a little while there but she seems OK (for now at least)!
  14. EPISODE 14 The Candidate Notes: No pre-airing spoilers. Once the episode has aired in the US then all discussion about the episode is fine. Also no discussion of any 'next time on..' parts please, as many people don't watch them.
  15. Copy and pasted from THIS thread: With Collectormania being so close to the end of Lost there's probably no chance of getting them to that, but how about one/some guests for this years London Film and Comic Con? It's been almost two years since we last had a guest and yeah I know that's a lot better than some fandoms get. With Lost ending I'm sure a few of the cast members are finding themselves with a lot of free time or are taking the summer off before moving onto the next project. How about getting Michael Emerso? I know Jorge Garcia is travelling and is thinking of come to London and some point this year. Henry Ian Cusick? Emilie de Ravin? Terry O'Quinn said he was holding of on doing conventions until Lost is over and guess what, Lost is almost over !
  16. I'd like to meet him but I'd rather he kept his clothes on...

  18. Another excellent episode! The reunions where great, Sun and Jin, Jack and Flocke, Jack and Claire (twice!) was one we've been waiting a loooong time for. The Christian being the smoke monster opens up a couple plot holes like how did Christian appear to Michael on the freighter and Jack's office off island? I loved the scene with them all boarding the boat and the opening Jack and Locke scene. If I was Claire I would have been a bit worried by Desmond, he's coming off a little creepy in some of the flash sideways. I was hoping he was getting to help Claire remember Charlie though. The two week break really sucks super mega monkey balls! Realising how much this two week break is going to sting makes me wonder how the hell I'll survive when it finishes FOREVER in four episodes time!!! It's really starting to sink in now... forever

  20. BOOM goes Ilana... although that scene was awesome I was hoping to get/see more from her. Michael back was great and so was Libby. How come Chang looked exactly as he did in 1977? The guy should have been about 70! And we got an answer on the whispers! The fact it was answered so directly and to the point was strange, not used to that with Lost!
  21. Add Adam and Eve to it and your list pretty much covers everything I feel NEEDS to be answered, what I've bolded however is what I don't think will be answered (and probably never even mentioned again). Walt, especially, will annoy me, it is/was such a big deal and there's no reason it couldn't have been answered when Malcolm was still young enough to play him. I think anything not answered in Season 5 about Dharma won't be answered.
  22. But not as bad as Ana Lucia! No she's far worse than Ana Lucia ever was! Every time I re-watch Season two I start of hating her and thinking "How the hell did I ever like her", then by the time Two For The Road comes around I've completely flipped my opinion and I'm thinking "Why exactly did I dislike her again?".
