  1. I do think David Tennant should go! it may be on the other end of the country for me, but I'd go if he went! Also Paul McGillion, he's so lovely! I can't believe that accent is a fake! (have people seen the Behind the Scenes stuff!!!!! OMG!)
  2. I would love to meet David. Seen him in several films, and the Behind the Scenes stuff I've seen, he looks like a nice guy. Would swing me to go to a show if I were undecided.
  3. I would have said no until John Barrowman said he would go, and now its yes. I don't live in London, so it will take me time to get there, but John is so wonderful, I really want to meet him. So I'm going now!
  4. Thank you SM! I wasn't going to go, but now he's going, I'm THERE!!! Can't wait to meet him. I'm going to see him in Panto too at Cardiff. Should be fun! BTW = according to his website, John will only be signing on the Sunday. But I would wait until later to make sure that's right. They can change things!
  5. I would definetely like to see John Barrowman! What a great man!
  6. I would like to see more Dr Who people! John Barrowman would be nice! I hear he's a great guy! Of course, anyone from Stargate is a must. However, there are some people you just know would be really busy. Someone asked for Ellija Wood (Sorry, I really can't spell - how do you spell his name?). He would be so busy I would never get the chance to meet him! It would be like when James Marsters came, you had to queue for tickets 3 in the morning to be able to see him! As mucha s I'm a fan, I wouldn't queue that long!
  7. I totally agree! I would do anything to meet Joe in particular!!!! PLease Showmasters! Invite him!!!!!!!!! (and anyone from Stargate, I love them all!) Amanda Tapping (Sam Carter) would also be a good guest!
  8. I was so sorry to see John leave Dancing on Ice! It was so wrong that he left, he was the best one there! Poor man. I'm hoping for an easter special!
  9. Thanks! I would certainly like to see this happen! Would be so cool!
  10. Disclaimer: 'Stargate SG-1' belongs to MGM and companies. There was no copyright infrinements intended. Words: 450 Jack finally persuaded Daniel to join him on a fishing trip, So while Jack set up his cooler of beer, Daniel placed himself in the empty chair and looked across the stagnant pond. “Seriously Jack; is there any life in here let alone fish?†Daniel said. Jack shot a look sideways at Daniel and Daniel raised his hands in defeat. “Fine, you prove me wrong then,†Daniel said. They sat there for a while until Jack had a brilliant idea. Running off to the back of his cabin, leaving Daniel to ponder. When he returned Daniel looked at it in disbelief. It was a boat covered in moss and other plants. “Jack?†“Daniel.†“Er…are you serious?†“Yep,†Jack said smiling. “Don’t worry Danny,†Jack said tapping him on the shoulder, “you’ll be perfectly safe.†“Oh, I doubt that,†Daniel said still staring at the boat. They set out in the boat until they reached the middle and cast their rods. Daniel was still trying to come up with a good excuse to be brought back to shore, when he noticed that his line was moving more than usual. The wind hadn’t picked up and the movement was becoming more violent. “Er…Jack?†“Daniel, you just have to be patient,†Jack said without opening his eyes. “My rod is moving,†Daniel said nervously. “What?†Jack leaped up almost knocking his rod into the water in the process. “Start reeling it in,†Jack instructed his friend. “You’ve probably caught it on the bottom or the boot I threw in a while ago,†Jack said reassuringly. Daniel reeled in this ‘object’ in more and more and it was putting up a fight. Not many old boots do that, apart from himself, Jack thought. Jack tried to help the archaeologist bring in his prize, whatever it may be, but he insisted on doing it himself. Finally Daniel managed to pull the fish into the boat and marvel at his prize. It wasn’t very big; Jack had caught much bigger before now (not in that lake mind). Jack sat back down in complete shock. The first fish caught in that pond he calls his lake, and he didn’t even catch it! “What were you saying about there being no fish in this lake?†Jack quipped. Daniel just grinned. “I can’t believe you, I mean YOU caught something,†Jack exclaimed completely gobsmacked. Daniel was acting a like a little kid at Christmas who had just got exactly what he wanted and his excitement almost caused him to fall out the boat, yet again. Jack wished he had as it would wipe that stupid grin off Daniel’s face. “So, barbeque tonight then?†Jack said heading back towards land.
  11. Love the story! I can SO imagine this happening! It's just like Daniel to carried away in a museum! (Unfortunely I'm sad like that, and I would enjoy five hours in a museum!) Love your work! Keep it up! Sweet little scene!
  12. Thank you! I love that pairing! I enjoyed writing it!
  13. Disclaimer: 'Stargate SG-1' belongs to MGM and companies. There was no copyright infrinements intended. Words: 439 There’s nothing wrong with this. We are just sitting in my house after a night out, she’s drinking the wine I bought earlier today, and we’re watching a movie. Ok, we’re sitting curled up together on my couch, but there’s nothing wrong with it. Who am I kidding? Of course there’s something wrong with it when you both know there is more to the friendship then you’re allowed to say. It had started out innocent enough. It had been a long day of debriefing after the mission the day before. It hadn’t gone smoothly, the meet and greet turned into meet and fire, but that happens occasionally. Not our fault the locals don’t have a sense of humour. We were finally allowed home, and although almost ordered, Daniel refused to leave as he said he had to read something urgently. I don’t know how any book can be more important than coming round to mine for a few beers, but apparently this book was. I was a little dejected as I walked to the elevator after getting changed out of my BDUs and found Sam there, waiting for it. “Hey,†I said as I approached. She seemed too engrossed in her thoughts, as she nearly jumped out of her skin when I spoke. “Hi sir,†she said keeping it formal; however, I was not in the mood for formal. “Sam, we’re off duty,†I said tiredly. “Of course, Jack. Got any plans?†she asked as we got into the elevator. “Did have, but Daniel cancelled on me,†I moaned. “You?†“I don’t know. Rent a movie probably,†she said. “A girl’s night in?†I said. “Something like that, but without the girls,†she said. We ride the rest of the journey in silence. We got to our cars and I leaned on the top of my car with a plan. “Why don’t you and I have dinner?†I suggested. A little shocked at my forwardness. “Neither of us have anything to do.†“But wouldn’t it be… well… awkward?†she said being up that subject again. I had thought of that, but hey, nothing is going to happen, I know that. “Why? Just two friends going for a meal and a few drinks,†I reworded it until it was ok. “Yeah, it’s not like it’s a date or anything?†she said. “Exactly,†I agreed. But then again, when’s a date a date? So here we are on my couch, enjoying each other company after having dinner, and bringing her back to my house to continue the evening. I don’t do this with every woman. Just the ones I… date. Whoops.
