Carrie Fisher has always been a popular guest in the past but hasn't been over for a few years. What are people's thoughts on getting her back for this event?

Hi Come and have a chat with the Welsh guy - I've not got anything on a Dracula image at present but I do currently have a superb signature from Christopher Lee on a Lord of the Rings photograph from an in-person signing event that may be of interest. Sadly we're not allowed to directly advertise on the forum but it will be prominently displayed for all to see.

I'm one of the autograph dealers who's been supporting all the Glasgow events apart from the first one. It is obviously smaller than the more well-established shows but it's the one we always look forward to attending most of all. It has a really great atmosphere and without exception, the people are so friendly. We always seem to do well, as do the other dealers I've spoken to. We'll certainly be back in August and look forward to seeing old friends again and hopefully meeting some new ones.

As a dealer myself, just love this approach to by-passing the advertising rules on this forum. How long would my message last if I started to display my banner and ask customers what they thought about it - nice way of beating the system if you can get away with it.......or am I just being miserable? Best be careful with the hard plastic autograph holders as they can cause the ink in the permanent marker to 'sweat' and stick to the inside. Fine while they're in there but frustrating when you try to remove the images after a while and then panic as the ink starts to peel off the photograph as I've found to my cost.

Pretty sure her name is Tiggy - always seen her at Collectormania events as well as LFCC.

Don't invite him back, he was as sour as you could get at the last one and then left early unannounced.He wouldn't pose for photos or even look at some fans. Disgusted with his attitude and i know i'm not alone on that one.Most of the time he won't sign for fans outside theatre or anywhere especially any star trek stuff so why encourage him to make money off fans he doesn't deserve.Compere miserable Stewart with other star trek people like Sirtis,Frakes, Dorn etc who are great to fans.Get them back instead. We must be talking about a different Patrick Stewart. He was the perfect gentleman when I met him - a quick hello, handshake and even a few words about his then forthcoming Shakespearean work with David Tennant. As far as signing outside theatres is concerned, I agree that should not be included in this topic but for the record, he will happily sign anything related to the play he is appearing in which arguably is a fair call.

Absolutely superb guest. Met him a few years back and found him hugely interesting and entertaining to talk to. This event continues to get better and better - please keep the guest announcements coming.

Gutted that I can't make this event. Understand S/Masters not accepting own items as pre-orders so wonder if anyone can help me get Torri added to my SG Atlantis cast-shot please? Happy to pay normal pre-order rates.

Hi - we're from Pontypridd too. I was one of the autograph dealers at last weekend's event but can't say which one for fear of being accused of advertising but had a large silver framed Christopher Reeve (Superman) item on central display amongst a number of other framed pieces - main aisle, right hand side about three quarters of the way down. Hope you had a great weekend there - despite all the travelling.

She was a guest at the first Autographica I attended back in the Coventry days at, I think, around 2003 although I could be a little out on the exact year. Absolutely wonderful lady and extremely friendly, chatty and more than happy to pose for photographs. Her return would be most welcome.

You can like them both together if you want, infact that might be more interesting lol PLEASE CAN WE HAVE A SUPERNATURAL CON!!!!!!!! A Supernatural convention is a must - best thing on TV bar none - would be huge

I do not consider it petty when an individual's integrity is openly challenged on a public forum and have strong issues when such challenge is made on the strength of nothing more substantial than sweeping third party generalisations. Nevertheless, I have no wish to prolong this particular thread. Your apology is accepted.

No need to 'dream on' as you so eloquently state nor are my comments based on wishful thinking but just evidence that a little politeness can go a long way and to suggest that Mr Shatner was not the ogre many people seem intent to make him out to be. I was fortunate enough to enjoy a positive response, I accept others may not have been so fortunate and to that end I sympathise with them that the meeting may not have lived up to their expectation. I do not know you and fail to understand why you have chosen to challenge my earlier statement. For whatever reason, in providing your sarcastic and ill-formed response, you have deliberately attempted to cast doubt on my own comments as well as those of at least one other forum member. For my part, I have nothing to gain by either exaggerating the situation or presenting falsehoods and as such, would be grateful if you did not make derogatory remarks concerning my integrity unless you are able to support them with something far more substantial than the alleged and seemingly generalised comments which a crew member may or may not have made in respect of the entire weekend Mr Shatner was present. As far as I am aware, this forum provides an opportunity for members to discuss events and share their experiences in meeting guests. It should not be seen as an opportunity for you to throw insulting and ill-founded comments every time you disagree with the content of a particular post.
