Ah themes! Now to think of costumes for them. ^^

Hub 6 scheduling... I can go (thank goodness for being a Media Student, all my assessment is via coursework), and even better for me, it's just before my birthday (which is the very day after it finishes - 23rd). There's gonna be some partying. ^^

Most of the staff at the Park Inn were nice far as I saw (although I was staying at the Ibis). The only issue I had was getting served sometimes, but that was only a very minor thing in the grand scheme of the con. :)

The only letdown of the weekend was the Sunday party... or surprising lack of it. O.o I was one of the people who was dancing to the music from the laptop (the one who was dressed all in brown and had horns, wings and a tail, lol), and that was fun. I was less disappointed at the end of the night and just really confused (still am). Do any of the crew know what happened that night? Other than that, I thought it was a good con, despite the lower number of attendees... and the rain. xD The doing away with the groups was probably a sensible idea given that there was a smaller number of people too. The only time the queue got 'ridiculous' was a double length queue for one autograph and even that went by fast. I did enjoy the talks and the screening. Funny as always. Did anyone manage to retrieve that Toffee Crisp in the end? xD

I'm taking my Fifth Doctor and an Owen cosplay (as usual) and have thrown some quick costumes together for the parties. I just want to have some fun really. And take photos/videos. ^^

Just got home to get my letter. Standard 61. ^^

You do realise half the attendees will be dressed as Jack or John...? Or Ianto.

D: Aww that's a shame. I was looking forward to hearing stories she could tell during the Q and A sessions. Ah well, hopefully next/another Hub. :)

Ooh, interesting. I already have ideas for both. Gives me an excuse to wear my goggles finally. ^^

I'm going to be going up to get there at 1/2 again, unless I've a lecture in the middle of the day... Hm... I'll have to check my new timetable.

I would really suggest you dont tell the world that as it was against the rules to record videos. Except I wasn't recording them DURING the talks. Or is it against the rules to record any videoes at all? ^^;

The con's a month before my birthday. XD My 20th. o.o Wow. I'm also undecided about whether to go Silver or Standard....

If we're talking about the songs at the Hub can I just say this? To everyone who during Ghostbusters song shouted 'Torchwood!' instead of 'Ghostbusters!' thank you. I started that and I was amazed when other people joined in. XD

One slightly off-topic thing to say... I want to thank everyone who at the Sunday night disco started yelling 'Torchwood!' instead of 'Ghostbusters!' to the Ghostbusters song. XD I think I might have started that, and it was hilarious to hear at least half the people on the dancefloor join in. And the 'stolen tables' at the Sunday disco were a nice touch. ^^ As well as the traffic cones which I heard were actually nicked from the M6? And Saturday's Balloon Arch. I expected it to be broken or gone by the end of the night as people took balloons from it but no, it was still there. :)

As far as the newbie guests went, I think they all did well, even if one or two were a bit stunned at the amount of attendees and our levels of craziness. lol Rik was awesome, my friend (Never) gave him a sketch she'd done of him and he came round the table and hugged her. Later on that day he passed our group sitting on some sofas and stopped for a bit of a talk and to say thanks again. Seriously, he was great. ^^ And Ben was crazy. Absolutely insane. When we went to get our autos there was no one in the queue so we talked and it ended up with some of us pulling the table cloth tight so he could sign it. XD Then later on he showed us a magic trick with his hands. lol

Cool. Nem, Koss and Gwem are also in the group so this is all working out quite nicely I'd say. ^^

I don't think it matters if you have your registration letter... (someone correct me if I'm wrong ^^; )
