  1. In this instance they didn't have much choice. Whereas in yesterday's fiasco with Team GB's COOK, despite landing numerous scoring shots, the judges failed to register points. Unfortunately in that instance he didn't appeal. It seems the Chinese team is coming under alot fo scrutiny as the IOC are investigating the true ages of 5 (FIVE!) female gymnasts after revelations over here on TV and on the Internet suggest one of the five may be 14 - 2 years under the minimum. More medals with a Bronze in the K1 500m Canoe/Kayak for 1000m Olympic Champion Tim Brabbants.
  2. It has been noted by another poster that the Scramble is the same as the Hardcore Title match at WrestleMania several years ago. However, the WWE has tweaked this match and the following is how they will work for both Scrambles at Unforgiven. 1. 5 guys, including the Champion (Triple H and CM Punk at the moment) will compete. 2. 2 will start, and the other 3 will enter at seperate intervals as in a traditional Gauntlet match. 3. Anyone getting a pin or submission - not sure if DQ's or Countouts are involved - will only be an interim Champion and thus will not go in the record books as the official champion. 4. The wrestler who is the interim champion at the 20 minute mark will be the World or WWE Champion.
  3. I agree that Mikey has been rude and out of order at times, but that in no way paves the way for Rex and Nicole to quite obviously be prejudicial towards Mikey during the Thriller task. Saying to Mikey.. "Just watch Nicole" when asking to have the moves verbally explained to him, and "You're being awkward" when Mikey was feeling his way around the Graveyard to familiarise himself with the surroundings is out of order. They even told him he wasn't allowed to join in, and stated that they would fail if Mikey took part. I see alot of Mikey's abbrasive comments during the show's run mainly down to the frustration of the majority of people not including him in a lot of things. They are living in a confined area and know that he is blind, so to ignore him is wrong in my opinion. Especially when he has asked what was going on and no one has responded. Only Rachel has gone out of her way to help Mikey with tasks, and even included him on her training routines.
  4. Wow...this string died a death here. Just saw on the BB9 website that 94.04% of votes went to Rex's Girlfriend! I wonder now if BB will take action against Rex for his part in the bullying of Mikey during this week's Thriller task? Doubtful! Despite some of the larger characters getting voted out, some of the boring or quieter characters have come out of their shells. One of the better BB's in a few years..
  5. Monumental is not a word that even came to mind when posting this about GK, but it does mean another female wrestler, rather than a diva who tries to wrestle. Despite the improvement of several female members of talent in the WWE, there are only a few who can hold a decent wrestling match.
  6. Reports are surfacing, including the WWE acknowledging the release from TNA, of former WWE Women's and TNA Knockout's Champion Gail Kim finishing with TNA and moving back to the WWE. It has been reported that it was purely a financial decision as the WWE has allegedly made a big money offer. If this is 100% true about a return to the WWE, could we see less gimmick matches and more wrestling matches for the women? Also, with Gail good friends with a number of the TNA Knockouts, could we see an exodus of them to the WWE in the future when their contracts expire?
  7. Tempting. Very Tempting. Any news on prices Snot?
  8. When people are going towards the back of the bus, instead of taking their rucksack or handbag off of their shoulder(s), they always make sure they hit as many people with them as possible.
  9. That's so generous of you Daniel. Buying drinks for everyone!!
  10. It was heartwarming to see major A List Hollywood talent turn out for Bernie's funeral and memorial service. It shows he had respect amongst his peers.
  11. Rainbowsparkle....how can you heap misery on me by grouping them? We need all of them at a Criminal Minds event.
  12. NCIS Season 1 for £14 (!) from Asda....I was well chuffed when I saw it at that price.
  13. I am finding the dropping of batons quite humerous. It is a shame for any team to do it at the worst possible time, but that is life. Bronze for Super Heavyweight David Price who got a bit of a spanking from the current World Champion Roberto Cammarelle from Italy.
  14. Another Gold, an this time in the K1 Canoe by TIM BRABANTS.
  15. It has been reported by The Hollywood Reporter newspaper that Peter Jackson and Guillermo del Toro have decided to adapt the book themselves after not finding a decent adaptation. The Hobbit
  16. So, is it doughnuts and cream cakes on Shabs?
  17. It looks like it will be a bit of a fight for overall Third place in the final medals table. With Russia only 1 Gold Medal behind Team GB, it will all come down to who wants it more. SHANAZE READE is favourite to capture BXM Ladies Gold. TIM BRABANTS is the reigning European and World CANOE FLATWATER Men's K1 1000 Champion. SARAH STEVENSON took Silver in Athens, despite a broken hand, in the TAEKWONDO Women's +67kg class; and she is expected to go head to head with Chen Zong (Chn) for the Gold. DAVID PRICE has battered his way to contention for the Gold in the BOXING Super heavyweight (+91kg) division. So, depending on what the Russians have left - and China and the USA seem to be dominating the Athletics - Team GB could retain Third place.
  18. I am shocked, you put the G in blue...tut tut Daniel...
  19. I will be so glad when the Olympics are over Daniel..your typing will be less blinding with all the colours That is unless you mention Seth Green
  20. More medals... Gold in the Star Class Sailing. Silver in the Men's Triple Jump. Silver in the Men's 10K Outdoor Swim. On a quick sidenote to a previous debate regarding Chambers and Ohuruogu, I read a report today that was a transcript from a post race interview with Ohuruogu where the interviewer asked her "If she felt that a shadow had been cast over, or her win had been tainted by, the doubt that remains with her three missed drugs tests that got her the one year ban and the eventually overturned lifetime BOA Olympics ban?...to which she replied, in what has been described by several journalists as an attiude/tone as if she had been afronted with scandolous lies..."Did you have to bring that up? I made a school girl error and I don't care what the public think about me..". It was also noted in the report that, during her ban and appeal, she made a statement to the press that, unless her lifetime ban at the Olympics from the BOA was lifted, she would claim her Nigerian Parent's heritage and run for them. Regarding lifetime Olympic Bans, these can be handed down by the I.O.C., but it seems only when the competitor tests positive at an Olympics game. Back to results.... Potential medals tomorrow from the delayed Ladies BMX, and also the K1 Canoe Flatwater... And the best thing is that the Australian Press are hating the fact that the Aussies are competing way below expectations, and that Team GB is way infront of them...gotta love the whinging Aussies... Also, hands up who has stayed up to gone 4 or 5am to watch the events? My latest was 4.15am and I was hanging in the morning...
  21. I just purchased the hilarious BBC comedy "The Visit". Ouch!!! I remember the day when I just paid for my test and that was it. And it was under £20 as well. I am so glad that I didn't start to drive now. The theory test back in the late 1980's was the examiner with a flipchart of road signs and questions about stopping distances. Ahh, those were the days..
  22. Silver in the rather long outdoor swim . I laughed so much when our guy kept going the wrong way and the pack behind him just followed him. I bet when they watch it back they will be like "WTF? We followed him all over the place!". I think they swam way more the 10K in that race, and mainly due to Team GB...
  23. BMX Update ... Did anyone see the gash on our girl's arm? Most people would have been claiming that they were dying or something, yet she treated it as a scratch..true BMX attitude there...got to love it..
  24. So, the 2 hour Q&A...does that cover the first 6 months of his wrestlign tenure? The guy could do 8 hours a day for a month and probably only get past the first half of his career.
