Folks, This is my first "sleepover" for one of these events. What's the area like for things to do afterwards? Or is it quick tube ride into the city centre? Andy K.

Miss G, you'll love Northampton on a Saturday then! They've just "upgraded" all the roads around that area, even us locals don't know which lane etc. we need! Oh and if anyone else is driving in town on the Saturday be aware both the Football and Rugby teams are at home, albeit staggered kick offs so traffic will be leaving one as the other is getting in. Trains are direct to Northampton from Euston, no changes (unless there are engineering works!?). Would it be easier to get to Euston from Victoria?

Like mousybrown said, the weekends get very manic purely for the fact it's in the centre of the MK shopping centre and there is thousands of casual shoppers trying to "spot the star". I try to avoid them but obviously it depends on the guestage. They should rejig the merchandise stalls around every day, that way you'll think you're looking at new dealers and you can spend more time there!

Hey folks, Does anyone still need numbers for Guest Houses, B & B's etc.? Being a townie I can post some here for you and give you some idea as to the walking distance. Can't comment on them as living here I don't use them but every little helps (as the advert says!).

I'm all for more Smallville guests (especially Erica Durance ) Also with a new X-files film imminent some of that cast wouldn't go amiss BUT what about a legend in film making? Ray Harryhausen anyone? Get him to bring some of his work with him as well......

Travel - £20 (With an 8am start! How rude for a Sunday) Autographs - £110 (Stewart, Black x2, Landis, Henn & White - is he really THAT tall? Made me look tiny and I'm 6' 6") Admission & Patrick Stewart talk - £25 (Worth it for the piece of rug..... ) Merchandise - £20 Pit stop in the pub next door - £10 (£6-50 for a burger and chips!!!!!! Can tell it's London!) Total then only £185 (LOL, only he says.........Yes Mr First Direct manager I will be paid this week!! ) All in all for my first LFCC I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the whole day. Was concerned about not getting the signatures but that wasnt a hassle and there was plenty of room in the hall not to be jostled and bumped around. Good day.

This is my first trip to a LFCC and looking at other posts I'm getting a little worried about getting there and ending up with nothing to show for my troubles. Due to the usual Sunday train service I can't get there until 10:50ish, I do have a pre-paid entrance ticket so will I still be queing (sp?) round the block to get in? Looking at some of the times people are starting to get there makes me think it's not that big a place and you need to get there Saturday night? Once inside is it the same as Collectormania where you pick up a virtual ticket for each guest and wait until your number is called? I only want to get 4 or 5 signatures but could be disappointed? Finally, for now I think, am I right in assuming I get off at West Brompton station? Hope so, makes it a lot easier from Bletchley via Watford. Thanks for any help, no doubt I'll be back later in the week for another worry.... (

Hi, newbie to this board here. Is the format of this event the same as Collectormania? You get given tickets for the celeb and then queue when your number is up? Are there sellers etc. there as well? Is there plenty around for when you have to kill time? Questions, questions.......... Never been to one of these but a few Collectormania's. I'm only up for the Sunday, gutted about not meeting John Hurt too, and it looks like a car journey as well! Replacement buses from Northampton southwards! HOW RUDE!! (
