I have to add my meagre opinion here. I agree with the above, it seems to me that this forum was set up as a sort of homage to both Tolkien and Mr. Jackson. However, it appears that many of the original 'true fans' have left in favor of new ones who seem to have nothing better to do than to insult the actors who did their best to entertain folks with their rendition of the Ring trilogy. Orlando seems to have suffered the most for no true reason. The guy can act, look good on camera and is a genuinely nice guy. Perhaps this new 'fandom sect' could appreciate the actors for what they are and the film for the real act of genius it was. I am sure Tolkein would turn in his grave were he to read some of the threads on this forum and Peter would most certainly look down on those who insult the guys (and gals) who helped him produce one of the greatest films of all time. Sorry folks.
